I have global alopecia, and my baby blonde hair was getting to a point where my scalp was clearly visible. I started using this 18 months ago. I didn't use it nearly as much as recommended and my hair got thicker by the day anyway... after trying to save money with generic (huge mistake) I came back to the brand name version. The only thing is that this was less than a year from expiration when I bought it. So it did lose some effectiveness after the expiration date, which really surprised me.

Seems to work! My hair actually seems to be thicker! Takes a wile before you notice the results, but it does work for me!

I read about Rogaine on the web also, for more information. It is the only approved "drug" (the Minoxidil) for women's hair loss. I've been using it almost 2 months, and feel that i am losing "less" hair than I was before; however, i also take the Rx Spironalactone, which was prescribed by my dermatologist for post-menopausal hair loss. For Rogaine... some information says You have to use it for at least four months — and possibly a year — before you see results. Even then, only about one in five women will have moderate hair regrowth, with a larger percentage noticing only that their hair loss seems to slow down or stop. But it's worth it to try. If it slows down hair loss, it's worth it.

Having been using Minoxidil for the past yearjust 3 months ago i switched to this brand and it works just as good

I have been using this product but have not actually seen improvement in my hair. It smells good and actually fluffs up my hair when I use it.
