OSRAMLED Star Classic A / LED-lamp in bulb shape with E27-base / not dimmable / replacement for 100 Watt / Matt / warm white - 2700 Kelvin / 1 pack

Initially, I was very pleased with this item as it was a nice warm white colour, was very bright and is a classic light bulb shape/size. However, after about 4 months of use (max 3 hours per day) it started to flicker and then, very shortly afterwards, failed completely. My estimate is that this bulb lasted around 350 hours against a claimed lifespan of 15000 hours, i.e. about 2.5% of what I expected! The only saving grace is that Amazon refunded me immediately - great customer service. With the refund, I bought another bulb exactly the same hoping that the one I received first was just a one-off, but I was wrong the replacement lasted only 6 weeks! There is clearly something wrong with this product and it is simply not robust. If it wasn't for Amazon refunding me immediately, I would have lost the best part of £20. My experience of LED light bulbs elsewhere has not been great and there seems to be a rush to get these items to market without proper testing or standards. I am surprised as Osram is a well know lightbulb manufacturer, however I would definitely NOT recommend this item.

This bulb is great as a true replacement in shape, size and brightness for a 100W filament bulb. However, as the other reviews state, one of the LED filaments started flickering on and off after about three months of use in a bedroom, and then about a week later the bulb failed entirely. I bought the bulb just over a year ago, but it has a three year warranty. Osram say warranty claims in the UK should be taken to the point of sale. Amazon said the product was out of warranty, but refunded the cost anyway. So I'm happy, but dubious about repurchasing the same product.

Used it in a fitting which used the bulb horizontally. Worked very well for five months and then failed. If it is not suitable for horizontal use that should be made clear in the sales information.

Failed after six months of very little usage. Avoid.

Ne ho comprate due. Fanno una bella luce, calda e potente, assolutamente identica ad una lampada a incandescenza da 100W. Purtroppo una delle due ha smesso di funzionare dopo meno di tre mesi, decisamente troppo poco a fronte di una vita dichiarata di 10mila ore. Inoltre, essendo il venditore Amazon, non ho trovato il modo di richiedere la sostituzione in garanzia. AGGIORNAMENTO: un mese dopo ha smesso di funzionare anche la seconda. Evitare.

Dopo poche settimane di utilizzo sporadico ha cominciato a sfarfallare vistosamente ed è difatto inutilizzabile. L'impianto elettrico. l'interruttore e il lampadario sono in perfetto ordine. È il prodotto ad essere difettoso e, purtroppo, non è più idoneo per il rimborso. Soldi buttati!

Avantages: s'allume instantanément, l'équivalent 95 W fait 1200 lumens et cela éclaire notablement plus fort en comparaison à l'équivalent halogène.Inconvénients:- Couleur très jaune en comparaison à l'équivalent halogène ou classique incandescente tungstène (pourtant lumière tungstène et LED chaud sont censée être à 2700 K tous deux). Je trouve cela désagréable en lumière principale, mais acceptable en lumière d'appoint.- Une des deux ampoules eq. 95W achetées s'est mise à clignoter au bout de 30 minutes d'utilisation- "Made in China" estampillé Osram.A noter le service de retour Amazon exceptionnel pour l'ampoule qui clignote: "Votre remboursement est en cours de traitement. Vous n'avez pas à nous retourner l'article d'origine pour obtenir votre remboursement".ADDENDUM: deuxième ampoule grillée au bout de 3 mois. Camelote donc.
