Please remember to push your plug all the way into these receptacles. After adding 4 of these to my garage I forgot to firmly push the connector in and as a result my table saw would not function, A quick to my fluke voltage tester indicated power , while further investigation indicated user error (my fault)In any case once in, the plug wont come out unless you really tug hard on it (take a look at specs on hospital grade receptacles or go to the Mike Holt forum for additional infoIn any case a bargain with terminals that have cover plates to accept stranded wire ! OCD electrical engineer here. These are required by the NEC in hospitals where AC powered equipment comes in direct contact with patients, hence grounding integrity it critical. They're also designed for the line cord to be ripped out at 90 degrees without damage to the receptacle. I use them for powering church audio where people are gripping microphones and instruments earthed to the equipment, that earth dependent upon the equipment's grounding - same analogy as hospitals. Also, when has a church ever delayed services due to a thunderstorm?They also grip line cords like death. Actually, consider the statement "pulling the plug". Well, conversely, the plug can't fall out, and it won't.A surperb value at $5.00. Packaged in original Leviton box.

Arrived 6 days early which is great service. Used this on my 15amp dedicated line for my audio equipment. Connects my PS Audio Dectet power line that has a very heavy plug and 10 awg power cord. It would not stay connected in the regular plug without wire support. The 8200W GRIPS it tight like a clamp and it is in there to stay!! Highly recommend for a very solid connection for audio equipment (and no, I did not detect any sonic differences).
