It would have been better if the bolt was provided. I bought two of these and one broke almost instantly because the bit of plastic on top that actually connects to the Garmin is extremely thin and fragile. It only took a tiny knock and my Garmin was on the ground. I have now re-installed the original Garmin arm which gives more flexibility.If the plastic past that broke was made of metal it would be probably the best solution

Good product, the cap and bolt are decent and the insert holds the Elemnt securely. However, the inserts are very brittle; I nudged mine by accident with my knee and it sheared off and went skidding across the tarmac. Luckily I had a protector on the unit and you can get a pack of replacement inserts relatively cheaply, just not from this seller. I got some branded "DYMOECE" and they're exactly the same.

Brilliant for mounting the Garmin in a safe and handy place. Very secure. No wobbles. Perfectly safe even if you leave the Garmin on the bike, put the bike on the roof and do 80 half way down the M4. Ahem. Loses a mark for being so bloody awkward to get straight when you're tightening the steerer bolt. It's a pig, in that respect, and no one likes a wonky Garmin.

Good solid mount but does not come with the head bolt

Bought this for my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt after I bought a second Wahoo 'out front' mount so I could easily switch the unit between road bike and mountain bike. Little did I realise that it was incompatible with the much narrower MB handlebars. Not a fan of the Wahoo stem mount as you have to cable tie it secure (ugly IMO). So, this little product ticks all my boxes and now I can easily shift my Wahoo between bikes ! Simple to install and appears secure (although not as reassuringly tight as the Wahoo mount) which is a shame.

Great idea, miles better than the disc with rubber bands, prefer it on the MTB to the ones that project out although they are good for road bike, too a seconds to fit and make sure it's alignment is straight, dont lose the tiny screws though! Garmin fits very solidly and nice click, recommended!
