Q: What's the filament diameter dimensional accuracy? reputable companies are proud to advertise +/- 0.03mm. not proto-pasta for some reason.

Didn't test the dimensional accuracy. I was too busy just trying to get it to print for a full print. I discovered that that I had to keep raising the temp of the extrude through out the whole spool so it wouldn't clog on me. Once I figured that out I just gave up with proto-pasta.

Q: Can you easily see through it? The description says it's translucent

I think it depends how thick the layer is. The last thing I printed using that was a Diii fan mod for my monoprice marked select printer. I took pictures to upload to the thingverse site, but I haven't gotten around to it yet: http://imgur.com/a/HMKPKYou can see how "translucent" it is. I wouldn't use it to clearly see through it, but you will be able to see LED's if you cover them with this.
