Better Than Expected
I recently bought a couple of Maxpedition Rolypoly dump pouches. I really don't care for their Tac Ties and I'm not too fond of some of the other strap alternatives on the market either. So I grimaced and bought the Blackhawk! Speed Clips.Wow, these things really hold! I had my doubts. Would the clips at each end slip off the PALS webbing? Would the pouch feel secure? Could it be knocked off ...The clips not only hold, but are somewhat difficult to get over the webbing until you get the hang of it. There is no shaking or bumping off of the pouch. These are as secure as conventional snap straps. While those may be permanently attached to the pouch at the top, snaps do pop open, and it is somewhat easier for a soft strap to work loose if it does than for the Speed Clips to come off on their own. But that's cutting a fine line, I think. The point is that the Speed Clips hold very well indeed."Speed," however, may be overstating things a bit. I'll grant that you can get them off pretty quickly, but getting them on still takes a bit of time. If you really need rapid off AND on, perhaps you're better off with something like Vanquest's molle sticks. The Blackhawk! Speed Clips are best viewed as an excellent alternative to the several other semi-permanent strap options out there.Recommended and available in several sizes and a couple of colors. As my pack is khaki and my wife's black, I just bought black for both. You don't really see them anyway.

Not sure how to describe these
I want to give them a great review, but I'm not sure how to. There's just not that much to say. They are a heavy duty tool that just works. They're awesome and really speed attaching and detaching bags from your gear. They are completely secure when you need them to be. If you already have them, you love them. If you don't have them, you might wonder what they are, but get a set, and you'll figure it out very quickly. Make sure you get the correct size clips you're looking for. Oh, and as I would say in any other of my Blackhawk reviews. "They're made by Blackhawk"...enough said. You get what you pay for! We started using Blackhawk products in a unit I was part of in the Navy. I've never looked back. Blackhawk....(never got a piece of bad gear from them and I wish I had more). If you're not familiar with Blackhawk you might take a look at their website. I would think anyone who uses tactical gear for a living or even recreation is familiar with them already.

Very handy to have...
Although I do have to use them just a little differently than intended. They fall off to easily unless the pach or pouch they are on is full.

Fantastic! Even the shipping bag they come in!
Blackhawk Speed Clips are fantastic! I tend to like bags that allow me to "customize" their configuration. That means I not only have bags from Maxpedtion, Condor, and Voodoo Tactical, I also have a TON of pouches. I'm constantly "tweaking" how they are set up. Speed Clips are an enormous help. They are fast, easy, practically indestructible, and hold things together as solid as you could ask for. They also not only add a bit of rigidity but keep the gear they are holding solidly up against whatever it has been attached to... in most cases it almost feels like the two pieces of gear have been sewn together. As an aside; I regularly order two packs of each size at a time and then dump all of the other packs into one of the 9" bags. The reason I do that is because Blackhawk ships these things in some really heavy duty clear plastic ziploc bags... after I've dumped their contents all into that one bag I'm left with a bunch of super heavy duty ziploc bags to use as organizers.Between how relatively pain free Speedclips can make dealing with PALS webbing be, and how reuseable the bags they come in are, as far as I am concerned they are a 6 out of 5 stars.

If you use a molle set up you need these!
Great gadgets. They are stronger and more substantial than I expected. Handy for creating more attachment options on a molle set up - you can create an attachment lattes at 90 degrees to standard molle webbing and attach pouches sideways - left to right as well a s up/down. They also let you connect molle to molle pouch surfaces so pouches can be attached by their side or front. The number in the description refers to the number of molle strips the clip will span - webbing and spaces. #3 will hook across web-space-web = 3. #5 will span web-space-web-space-web = 5 etc etc. You do need to be using quality molle gear with accurate and consistent 1" web stitching as the clips are designed to be a firm fit. If you use molle gear you need these, they triple the versatility of your kit set up, are fast and simple to use, and strong. They also come in in handy, quality zip-lock plastic bags.

Tell me if I’m wrong…
It’s marketed as a six pack, but my package only came with three.Anyone else have this happen to them?

These are awesome.
Bought these as I needed a way to secure my Maxpedition Rollypoly Folding Dump Pouch (Black). I have to say I was a bit skeptical initially as they look a little 'too easy' if that makes any sense and I've had good luck with the integrated MOLLE straps that are usually included with items (like my SOG Powerlock case, it has the strap built in). But after looking at tac-ties and reading about people having frustrating with those I figured I would give these a shot. After about 5 minutes I had my pouch secured and it hasn't moved sense, these things are bullet-proof (at least as much as a mall-ninja needs) once installed. Should I need any more clips I'll definitely be getting these, easy to install, easy to remove and easy on the pocket book which means more money to spend on stuff to attach to my bags! :)
