Massive Attack v Mad Professor Part II Mezzanine Remix Tapes '98 Pink

I love Massive Attack and adore the Mad Professor remix album.....this was intriguing as I had heard about it but didn't think they would ever release it.The quality is super crunchy and a little dirty (which can happen in Dub but was not usually the case with Mad Professor productions in the past.). I kinda wonder if this was a panic release when they knew the re-release of Mezzanine was going to take an extra year or so beyond the release date they gave for it to come out.

Just buy it. It is amazing!

Really four or five stars for the music but one star for the pressing. Side one, track three, has a terrible amount of “non-fill”. This is where the molten vinyl cooled too quickly before it squeezed into all the nooks and crannies of the press. It sounds like paper ripping and it looks like shinny beads on the surface of the vinyl. I’ve ordered a replacement. Hope it’s a one off. Have ordered a replacement.

Very poor sound quality on this pressing. Bass is absent, with no dynamics. I'm using a Technics 1200gr TT, and an AT440mlb Cartridge. Don't waste your time.

My copy of the vinyl was absolutely fine. That's the lottery of buying music in this format. Also not sure if it's mentioned anywhere else, but copies include a coupon to download a decent 16bit WAV download of not just this, but also the original Mezzanine album.

Excellent album, excellent remixes of already excellent tunes

vinile: di buona qualità audio, e di colore rosa; fa il suo effetto sul piatto. brani audio ripresi da album Mezzanine musicalmente brani un po' particolari…. giusto un album per chi e un estimatore dei massive attack forse musicalmente sulla falsa riga dell album massive attack v mad professor no protection, comunque un vinile da tenere nella propria collezione.
