My son wanted to go fishing so we got him this fishing pole. It is a good size for him and he really likes the color and all the accessories. My husband was able to easily put it together and my son was able to catch a couple of fish the first time he used it. It’s also nice that it comes with a bag.

After using this rod I found that it is surprisingly versatile! A perfect Kids travel fishing pole, but will also work well for any adult who is looking for a simply and easily stored travel rod! The pole extends to just over 5 feet or can be bought in a shorter height. Perfect(Travel Rod)for children or a person of shorter stature like myself.(5,6) The kit also comes with a small tackle kit including a small jerkbait, fishing bells, 2 colors of curly tail grubs a bobber and a few other small items! The reel comes with line already spooled and surprisingly held some weight as I managed to catch a decent pass with the rod! The only knock I have on this rod is the Reel feels rather cheap, but when compared to other "Kids Fishing Rods" this seems to be commonplace! I would personally recommend this as an awesome kids fishing pole

I got this for my 7 year old son, who started fishing last year! He hasn't had a chance to use it yet, but he's looking forward to it! It has everything you could want a kid to start fishing with including a small net, which remains to be seen how well it holds up to fish here in Texas! Lol. So far so good, he likes it!

Kids first fishing trip a total non-starter due to faulty rods. We got about an hour in when one of the two rods being cast totally broke - reel broke apart at cast with reel a line spool falling into water. Got all back up but was a loss with everything tangled. The casting trigger broke so no way to fix. About 20mins later the second rod broke in the same way. So fishing was a total bust for remainder of the weekend …the whole reason for the trip was to teach the kids and we spent a lot of $$ on this getaway. 100% Disappointed all around of course and today I tried to figure a way to contact the company for a full refund but my return window via Amazon passed two weeks ago so can’t seem to make that connection …really sucks as these were bought in advance for our trip so couldn’t use until now to find this all out. OddsPro: if you’re reading this it would be super great to get some contact from you and a refund. Thx!!!

So i took my time to write this review as of this point ive had this little combo for a little over two months and i will admit taking my nieces and nephews out fishing with it has been a blast. We are more of a saltwater fisherman then freshwater. But it has served its purpose in both saltwater and freshwater as posted with the pictures above. My pros to this combo are ease of use the starter tackle it comes with isnt bad and works very well for a bunch of different freshwater fish and some saltwater fish. That being said my biggest gripe with this rod is just how flexible it is. some may see it as a plus some may see it as a negative. The flex doesnt really help when coming to hook sets using J hooks. But you can more then make up for it when using circle hooks where the hook set comes from reeling up and becoming tight with the fish on the other end. Over all i was very pleased and used it in both lure applications to dead bait and live bait applications and i honestly love it. it was amazing it was awesome to use and my little nieces and nephews loved using it anywhere from freshwater canals to the ocean. i would highly recommend this combo for anything starting or any young anglers it is very tough and sturdy and easy to get the gist of. 4.5 out 5 stars for me

This is the cutest kids' fishing pole! We got it for my three-year-old, and all the accessories work for him to fish in our local pond. The carrying case was an added bonus!

Very effective for my four year old daughter to get a fish. Comes with everything you need. It’s not cabela high quality but it’s great for a first time fishing rod

We absolutely love these fishing rods. We taught our daughter how to fish using them and we caught some small and medium-sized fish. I'm sure it can handle much bigger fish if we went where they were. The setup was quite simple and taking them apart to store in the included carry case was easy too.

My 3 and 4 year old only used these rods 3 times, for a total of maybe 2 hours. Both reels stopped working and then constantly got tangled. Worst money spent and now useless.
