ACT976 Brake Pad Set , GREY

Akebono brake pads are the best! Made in the USA. The only pads I use. Will easily last 40000 miles. And no noise, Great Stopping power!

I could not be more happy with the results. Specifically, my wife keeps bragging about how well her brakes are working now, so that is the ultimate measure of success. The pads look great and did not take much at all to bed into the rotors. Almost no dust. Will absolutely be using this product going forward.

Very pleased with these. The front brakes on my Tundra lasted 62,000 miles - started hearing the wear sensors. Toyota brakes aren't all that - they worked fine but any time I towed the boat, I basically had to stand on the brakes and panic stops were my biggest fear, especially on roads with higher speed limits. Needless to say, this wore my pads down even quicker. I also would have paid about the same for Toyota brakes as I did for the Akebonos. I did the front brakes myself - my rotors were in great shape and not scored, warped or glazed. These pads fit perfectly, were easy to install, and seem to be a quality product. I did take the time to bed the pads in correctly and noticed a bit of fade during that process, but that was repeated hard braking and not uncommon or unexpected, but I let them cool down and the next day when I drove the truck - couldn't ask for better. The brakes work great now - noticeable difference over the OEM pads. Absolutely no noise, vibration, or dust. I've only put about 300 miles on the truck since the pad replacement but I am very pleased with these.

I think these will be my go to front brakes for my truck. They were easy to put on and so far they've been great.

Purchased this to replace OEM pads on a 2010 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner V6. Pads feel just like OEMs and there is no squeal/noise. I wanted to purchase Toyota OEM pads but didn't have time to go the dealer and I didn't trust the ones I found on Amazon because there were no reviews. In any case, I have no regrets/problems with these pads. Update 11/11/2014: Slight squeal at low speeds (like when you inch forward in a fast food drive through). Somewhat annoying. I took off 2 stars for the noise.

Fit 2021 4unner front calipers. dosent come with any hardware or grease, sugest replacing the pins, the outer and lower retainers, cheaper little parts kit and should be replaced any way. Works great on the truck, no squels smooth braking. manufacure for these pads recomend no grease on the shims and no break in needed. Also comes with shims installed. Believe this is toyota oem manufacture just upgraded version.

Best pads on the market for general use. Great quality.
