It was impossible to find this product in the US, now, for some unknown reason. Ordering it from the UK was easy, and the shipping was fantastic!

I have used Nads nose wax in the past; initially as part of a joke I found I much preferred using it to trimming my nostrils with clippers and haven't looked back.When I came to buy a new pot this time I stumbled over the Simon & Tom version - and at almost third of the price of Nads, I decided to try it. After all, surely wax is wax and any formulated to be stuck up your nose is bound to be relatively gentle.The first time I tried it, I noticed some differences between it and Nads. This melts a lot more consistently in my microwave - it's possible my microwave is at fault, but the Nads tends to either remain semi solid or get so hot it could burn through an engine block; it's tricky to find the sweet spot. The Simon & Tom wax melted perfectly however and was ready to go within minutes. It smells OK (I wouldn't describe it as yummy but it isn't offensive either).The applicator is the main difference - the applicators included with Nads are wider but you get more with Simon & Tom (something I've never understood; the wax is useless without the applicators and you get a lot of wax - why not include enough applicators to use more than 1/3 pot of wax?). The different shape means that Nads is more successful at getting more hair at the opening of your nostril in one go but are impossible to insert too far. The Simon & Tom applicators are much taller and narrower and as such get hair from slightly deeper within the nose but can't get everything at the opening in one hit - having more of them means you can use a couple without issue if you don't get all the stragglers on your first attempt. If Simon & Tom (or Nads) were to adapt their applicator design to either give a slightly wider base (or longer tip) or perhaps to include a couple of different shaped applicators within each pack, that would be perfect and give the potential for better results. After all, everyone's nose is different!As for performance I think the Nads wax just edges it, but it's a difficult metric to measure when you're forcibly ripping nasal hair out. The pain is surprisingly little - it's no more painful than pulling a single hair out of your nose with tweezers. It's almost like the brain can't comprehend the level of pain that pulling 50% of the hair out of your nose in one go should generate. Once done, beautifully smooth nostrils are yours, enabling you to suddenly breathe deeper, smell things more clearly and register small amounts of surprise at just how cold early morning air is.Overall, Nads make a better performing wax than Simon & Tom, but not 3 times better and as such is massively overpriced in comparison - I won't be switching back.

Tried this for the first time with pot a third full of wax discs. Instructions say to microwave for 30 secs to melt the wax. I actually took over 2 mins to get the centre of the wax soft enouh to use. Not sure the applicators are a brilliant idea as they don'y seem to hold enough wax to get all the hairs first time so have ordered some wooden spatulars, which I think will be better.

I decided to try this product although reticent. I am a bit rubbish at waxing legs etc. It never seems to work out. I was getting fed up with the nose trimmer which only worked when it wanted to and even though a good brane (Braun) it was not up to the job. So I took the plunge. I have to admit that it totally exceeded my expectations. The wax took a lot longer to melt than was stated but I managed to sort that out. The instructions were very clear. Stick to the instructions and you won't go wrong. It really does not hurt, that really surprised me. It states to discard of the sticks at one use. I decided to wait for the wax to dry then remove it, disinfect and use again. I did this because I felt that the wax/ stick balance was not accurate. I hope you find this helpful.

For best results, you need to judge the temperature of this wax, I'm not sure if this is actually wax. I have a feeling it's a sugar type mixture but I will be gone for something more traditional in my next purchase.

The wax was rock hard after heating for 2 minutes and a further 2 minutes at 10 second intervals so decided to abandon it. I contacted the seller and was told they were sorry I had lost confidence in it and I could return for a refund. After another day I decided to reheat for another 6/7 minutes, the cup was scorching but wax still hard, I stirred kept reheating and after sticking a spoon and knife to stir it and prodding with the nasal sticks, I was worried sick about using it - it was drying in strands as I took the implements out of the wax! How could you feel confident about using this product? I contacted the seller between first and second attempts to reheat to ask if this was normal and was told they would ask Quality Control and get back to me, but I have heard no more, therefore I am returning the product to Amazon. I give one star for delivery and service from Amazon and response to 2 out of 3 messages from seller!

This is an excellent product that works perfectly and not very painful. However, there is a major flaw in the instructions. There is not one block of wax, there are 5 tablets. Each takes 2 mins to heat. That is why there are bad reviews and photos on here of people trying to melt the whole thing at once ! No wonder it takes 10 mins and leaves a boiling hot mess. Unless you emptied the cup first there is no way of knowing this as it is missing from the instructions !The manufacturer needs to rectify this and it’ll rectify all the bad reviews !As I said, it’s and excellent product.

Prodotto sicuro e facile da utilizzare...con un minimo di accortezza è impossibile sbagliare o riscaldare troppo la cera... consiglio di utilizzare esclusivamente il forno a microonde, come d'altronde è scritto nel foglietto illustrativo che arriva insieme al resto.Io ho scaldato a più riprese la cera, un minuto alla volta a 1000watt, fino a quando ha raggiunto una consistenza pastosa, tipo nutella...a quel punto si intingono due bastoncini nella cera e si posizionano nelle narici...ed opla', il gioco è fatto...si sente un minimo fastidio quandi si tira il bastoncino con la cera che ha "imprigionato" i peli da estirpare, ma sopportabilissimo....aggiungo che la spedizione è stata rapida e con involucro idoneo

Ich hatte Mal wieder nach einem Nasenhaar Rasierer gesucht nachdem mich die Haare in der Nase schon wieder pieckten...der im Badezimmer Schrank wir natürlich defekt und so suchte ich bei Amazon nach was neuem. Irgendwie bin ich dann bei diesen Wachsstäbchen gelandet, nachdem ich sowas auch schon in mehreren Shorts bei YouTube gesehen hatte. Bei professionellen Barbieren sah das immer so einfach aus und was da immer an Haaren dranging....ich wollte das Mal probieren. Also bestellt, kam schnell an und gleich ausprobiert...und was muss ich feststellen....wenn man erstmal raus hat welche Konsistenz das Wachs haben muss, und dass ist Recht zähflüssig und nur noch lauwarm, dann ist das Ergebnis echt Klasse. Ich brauchte für meine große Nase zwar mehr als einen applikator pro Seite aber was da alles rauskam... unglaublich...und mehr als ein kurzes ziepen, das normale Menschen locker aushalten, war nicht zu spüren, dafür freut man sich über die Haarbüschel die man nicht mehr in der Nase hat. Ich find's Klasse...bestelle mir gleich Mal applikatoren nach...die gut es von diversen Anbietern ja einzeln...und dann wird das meine bevorzugte Variante für die Zukunft...Wachs hält wahrscheinlich erstmal Recht lang ...ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Funciona muy bien, cumple su función. Aunque se enganche en la piel de la nariz y se deba desenganchar tirando fuerte, no hace daño ni deja rasguños
