a good fidget toy
got one for my 6yr old nephew a few months ago....he keeps that one at home. so i got this one for him to have when he's at my house. it does keep his hands busy. when we go out, i make sure he has it to prevent him from putting his hands on everything in teh store. it works for the most part...not foolproof, but decent. my only issue is that he likes to unsnap one segment and twirl it around. he's already hit his brother with it doing that, and i won't let him take it to school because i'm afraid he'll hurt someone with it inadvertently. but to use with adult supervision until he has enough control not to twirl it, we are very happy with it.

Sensory toy
This toy was ordered to help keep a youth busy during a nonpreferred activity. It is working well and we will look into buying more if needed in the future.
