Far better than the $100 bike computer it replaced.
This unit is more than I expected. I recently had a heart issue and as a result I’m doing cardiac workouts. I purchased the XOSS heart rate monitor and it works great on my phone. Then my bike computer of 10 years died. It wasn’t cheap but didn’t want a super expensive replacement either. I did have a chest strap with that, but it didn’t connect to my phone. So when I saw the price of this computer I figured, worst case I return it. Boy am I surprised in a great way. Not only does it pair quickly to my ant+ devices but it also allows for me to record on my phone every detail of the ride, showing my heart rate with my elevation, with my speed, with my cadence. It blows away the expensive computer I had been using. I’m kinda glad it died! The only knock I have is the default settings on the US sold device is in metric, and you need the app to change it. My entire first ride was not recorded right. Then I changed it, but you also need to change in the app. Kinda annoying. I’m also finding it challenging to get the wheel settings right so my speed and distance are right. Still you can’t go wrong for the price. Liking the rechargeable aspect as well. Really a great product despite the setup challenges.

Clean installation for my mountain bike
I bought this for my new full suspension mountain bike. I did not want a wired computer as I desired a clean installation not subject to snagging on brush. I purchased a meilan cadence (bluetooth) sensor as well.I have been very pleased with this cyclo-computer. I ride primarily in a forested area on a very serpentine singletrack trail. The gps does pretty well given the tree cover and the fact that I am switch-backing within the tens of feet. The bluetooth update rate is good (e.g. for my cadence sensor). I like the auto pause feature which detects when you stop and stops the total ride time. The unit has an altitude feature which I find to be pretty decent. Also, when I first power on the unit, I push the play button twice (play and then pause), I find that this makes the unit get a gps fix.I think that the displays are pretty well laid out. I've not had trouble reading them even while bouncing down a trail. The controls are very simple. So, if you want a clean install and are not looking for absolute accuracy if you're going to ride twisting terrain (because the gps is averaging your heading) I would recommend this. It really is an excellent value for a gps based cyclo-computer.

XOSS G+ value for $$$ is excellent
Using G+ for ~ 9 months (3300 miles) 4 stars only because of problems acquiring GPS sometimes, once locked on it stays, but locating link can take minutes (~ 2-5 ?). Last week would not get GPS at all, searched, didnt find, then stopped searching losing the GPS icon on the screen as well. After fooling with all settings and restarts, today I saw a firmware update and applied it, after restart GPS locked instantly, hopefully this will solve the problem, if it does this is absolutely worth 4 stars, if not it will need replacing/scrapping which makes the unit worthless and zero stars for reliability, the update didnt mention GPS issues.

Great deal. Works good. Accurate. Easy to see.
I liked it enough that I bought a second one. The GPS finds satellites almost instantly, within 10 seconds of waking up, often less than 2 seconds. Functions are accurate and super easy to access. Display is large enough for my aging eyes. Automatic backlight is perfect for early morning rides in the dark and doesn't seem to change battery life much. The USB recharge is easy. I seem to get 20ish hours of riding per charge no matter whether the back light was on or not. The actual battery life might be much more, I recharge anytime there is one bar left on the battery meter when I get home. The sensors have 800+ miles on them without a battery change.Even with a speed sensor on the wheel, it won't record distance while riding a trainer or rollers inside. Speed and cadence show correctly, but distance doesn't accumulate indoors. I wish XOSS would create a "Trainer" mode that computed distance from the speed sensor, even if it had to be enabled from the app.The data uploads to Strava have been seamless - without glitch.

It is pure junk
Don't waste your time of money buying this Chinese product. It is junk. First of all the documentation is very week. I bought the readout monitor not knowing a sensor wouldn't be included. Then I ordered two sensors and both sensors' packaging read cadence. If the cadence youtube (by XOSS), it said to take the batter out to change it from a red light (speed) to a blue light but that didn't work about 80% of the time. I got both installed and it seemed to be working on a trial 0.1 mile test ride except the cadence readout would be some number when I wasn't even pedaling. I really didn't care because I didn't want anything but a speedometer (I didn't care about the GPS or the cadence). On my first 20 mile ride, the cadence didn't work and every once in the while the speedometer read wrong for a second or two. I could live with that. Two days later I I tried to use it again and it would turn on and immediately shut down.
