Quality
I ordered this fan 4/25/21. The "look" was perfect. The delivery was perfect. The Esquire Industrial ceiling fan was ordered for a new house under construction. With Covid restrictions, and supply chains scrambling, the actual install by the electrical company did not take place until 9/30/21. The fan, along with all other electrical installation checked out perfectly. I was unable to obtain a CO (certificate of occupancey) due to the back order of all kitchen appliances. Once CO was received, we moved in, and all seemed fine. From May 2022 until March of 2023, this fan worked perfectly. Then, it started shorting out. Not responding to remote. Randomly not responding to wall switch, etc. The electrician has been out multiple times. Everything electrically is operating as it should. The electrician reached out to the manufacturer, and was told the parts that most likely needed to be replaced. However, they were not able to take an order until they had the parts available. Told us to contact them again in mid-July. Now there are telling us they are not sure the parts will be available. Apparently, when everything is working correctly, the fan randomly does not respond to remote, nor wall switch at random. So, I own a fan that cost almost $1000, that worked for less than a year. I LOVE the fan, and the design. But, what do I do now?

Worth the price
Beautiful, functional and unique. We love this fan in our kitchen, which is a central room in our home, because it can really direct air flow in the house. On high speed, it’s like having 3 high velocity fans so it’s loud but the air flow is insane. On the medium and low setting it is actually pretty quiet and still pushes more air than most ceiling fans. People compliment this fan all the time. It is very expensive and I spent about five months looking around till finally breaking down and getting it during a 15% off sale. It is worth it. We love it.
