Harold Feinstein Auto Open and Close Butterfly Collapsible Compact Umbrella, Multi-Colored

Received faster than expected. Beautifully (and sturdily) made; the mechanism works robustly. This is a lovely umbrella. The slip-case has a ribbon drawstring that closes it up with a little ruffle, so pretty. I might buy another in a more autumn/winter design later this year.The only thing that annoys me about these auto-open/close umbrellas is that you have to collapse them completely in order to pop them open again, which can be a little awkward when getting into and out of your car in the rain. Small price to pay, though. And speaking of price, I had an umbrella like this for years that I somehow lost last summer; I remember paying $40 for it, so this one is quite the steal. :)

Just received the umbrella today and its absolutely gorgeous! When you remove the umbrella from the sleeve , there is a button on the handle that you push and it opens the umbrella all the way and stays in place. When you are ready to close the umbrella, press the same button on the handle and it will close the umbrella, letting you push the umbrella back into the handle and ready for storage. This is a hassle free umbrella and prepares you for a rain emergency! Shipping was fast and the umbrella came neatly boxed and wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap. I would recommend to others!

The umbrella is very pretty -- I love the butterflies. However, the Close function does not work and that is the main reason that I purchased it. The last few umbrellas that I've purchased have the Open/Close function -- the Close function is particularly handy when it is raining and you can get into your vehicle without first closing your umbrella. I will stick with Totes brand umbrellas in the future.

I love butterflies so of course it's great on that level. And it's sturdy and functions well.

This umbrella is absolutely gorgeous. Hope it lasts. Daughter will use it on campus this spring. It's not the same old, same old black umbrella.

Gave this to my sister as one of her Christmas gifts. She is 89 and had never had an umbrella that you could automatically put up or down by pushing a button. She loves it.
