Pantech Renue Qwerty Slider Keyboard phone - GSM unlocked

This item is an old and simple but very functional phone that works like a charm. I bought it to replace the one I'd originally gotten through my phone service provider. My original phone died, and my service provider no longer carries this out of date model. I am an older person who was not yet ready to upgrade to something super-expensive with Internet & data plans that I would never have a use for; I just needed to retain my basic functionality: talking, texting, photos and video-cam. This replacement phone has done the job excellently. The only shortcoming is that the battery sometimes runs low very quickly after a charge. But so far it's not been a problem. Very happy that I made this purchase. The device arrived in great condition and has performed admirably thus far.

wouldnt even turn on. waste of money

phone itself stopped receiving text messages a week after I bought it. apparently it's a known issue with these phones (and other pantech devices apparently). nothing we could do would fix it, including new sim cards and complete resets of the phone.

I've had this phone for less than a year now. Since the first week, this phone has been annoying. Sometimes, when you try to make a call it says that only emergency calls can be made. Then I have to shut down and restart the phone again so it can make calls. Last week, I started having more problems. The touch screen buttons to call and hang up didn't work, then within a couple days the touch screen to make calls, look up contacts, send messages, stopped working. Now I can't hang up or call out. So all in all I'm just very disappointed that this phone didn't make it to a full year. yes, I dropped it a couple times, but other than that, nothing has happened to this phone.

Great basic phone! I've been looking for this kind of phone for a while (and been through several) This is a keeper!

It is what it is, crappy battery life and low volume on headphones

This phone was purchased to replace an AT&T phone that had taken water damage. Phone is well built with a decent size keyboard. Just a minor flaw in my ordering was not noting the SIM card size, this phone uses a micro SIM, the phone I was swapping had a standard SIM. In under 15 minutes at the local AT&T store a rep changed out the SIM at no charge. All in all a nice upgrade from the LG.

Its ok, not many problems, I use it mostly 4 texting and the keyboard is small 4 my big fingers. My biggest con abt this product
