100% what we wanted
My wife uses this on her famous home-made pizza. It has a nice, smooth flavor. Not too spicy. I do not like spicy. This has been hard to find at our local stores.

Worth the money and memories
I grew up on Chef Boyardee Pizza. I make my own pizza dough but missed this sauce as the base. This is cheaper than purchasing by the can at the box stores.

Still the same great sauce
Some of the reviews said ChefBoyarDee had changed the recipe, and the sauce is not as good. I decided to buy it and try it anyway. I am happy to say it tastes the same to me. I compared the label to an old can I had, and the ingredients are the same. The cans did come dented, which doesn't bother me, but I include that in my review because I know this matters to some people. I use this sauce for quick meals of frozen ravioli, to make meatball subs, as a dip for toasted cheese sandwiches, and on English muffin pizzas. If you add a couple of tablespoons of half-and-half or cream you get a yummy tomato cream sauce to serve on pasta. Expiration date was a year away, so there is plenty of time to use the sauce while the date is still good. Highly recommend.

Nice taste!
This has great taste, but is water thin. My brother and I used to make Chef Boyardee Pizza from the box when younger. I just cannot seem to find pizza sauce in the stores that make pizza taste like pizza. Although very thin this does make pizza taste like pizza at least from the time when I was young.
