No Man's Sky Beyond (PS4)

This on VR is absolutely AMAZING. There are so many items to create, so many systems to explore. The VR gives that full immersion, and you can literally play for the whole day and not notice. Very addictive, but perfect for the pandemic. You can meet your friends online and fly through the galaxies. I hope they stick with this and build on it more.

After the major update to this game my son's been beside himself with joy & glee at this title. Finally the game lives up to its initial hype.Delivery was prompt and item as expected too.. win win :)

No man sky is a great game now but it still has the biggest issues and thats variety/ and seems to be confused what it is.the game still has zero variety it gets a little more with every update but there so far and between that ive came across the same animals and almost the same mix about 20 times and ive put alot of time in no man skyyou can cook in no man sky etc but then what do i do with thisthe mechanics of this game need to be fleshed out more.give me a reason to cook food and make the multiplayer better let us build citys etc or something lol

I found this quite a fun game, a pleasant blend of exploration, combat (both spaceship fighting and fighting with laser guns), mission completion, story line, base building and trading, although a player can choose to emphasize one or more bits of this over the others. My son for instance was quite focused on the story, I played it much more on maximizing character development and missions and trophies and so on. Derelict ships can be explored, both crashed and in space, and they can be quite exciting experiences.The graphics are pretty good and the gameplay reasonably intuitive. It rewards grinding at some points, but crucially it does not insist upon it for success. Some of the combat can be quite challenging until you get used to it and improve one's weapons, equipment and tactics somewhat. Many of the missions are just as much exploratory as combat orientated. The storyline is okay, but quite 'mystical' for want of a better word and not amazingly interactive, although there are some points where the story can be materially affected. Ultimately it is quite like Elite 40 years on, although with many more things to do than there were in that game (and docking and combat aren't quite as tricky as in that game!). In various small ways, the game has got easier over time - some of the exploration was very difficult! The gameplay has no difficulty levels as such, but it does have levels which affect the starting position and also whether the character can effectively re-spawn after death. With reasonably sensible play death isn't particularly likely, but it can happen (and might well be from a hostile physical environment just as much as from hostile creatures or space ships). I would have preferred more and a wider variety of Aliens to encounter and interact with, although the language-learning mechanic whereby one picks up words from conversations over time is nice.The very long term replay factor of the game might not necessarily be the highest for most gamers, since they may feel that once the 'story' is done, the world exploration and mission completion isn't enough for them to keep going. But it is a reasonably long ride to get there and most players with any interest in space exploration games should enjoy it. There is quite a lot of useful advice out there from the Youtube gamers if you need it. Recommended.

I have seen this over the years and wasn't really interested, I saw the bad reviews and thought it would be a waste of time. I then noticed a post on Reddit that the game was 10 years old and people were raving about how good it was.Bit the bullet and started playing, progressing through the story and going here there and everywhere to get resources not sure i was just grinding for the sake of it or was enjoying myself. Then you find something rare through your efforts and it makes your day. I then looked at my save time and i was at 75 hours so it is safe to say i'm enjoying it.My only complaint would be that I have had to find out too much from the internet on how certain things work or how to do specific things instead of from the game guide.

It's been literally years since I've had a game I'm excited to be home from work to play, especially weeks after getting it.I got curious and YouTube'd how the game is different to it's launch state, and oh wow there's far more on it. And every bit is amazing.Just remember, it's chief thing is exploration. There are loads of missions, and a story, all playable online, but it's mostly exploring.I've since recommend it to a fair few of my friends, I know of about 3 who have got it since and are also loving it.Also, great touch of sci-fi references to series' books and everything ;)

When this game first came out it didn't feel like it was ready, but since release Hello games have been working really hard to fix issues and improve it. And now it has been updated for Playstation VR and this is a great addition.Hours and hours of fun and exploration

I can honestly see why this has been labelled one of the biggest comebacks in game history! I was going to buy this when it originally came out but after seeing the slew of terrible reviews I’m glad I gave it a miss when I did.I definitely waited till the right time before I made this purchase, I absolutely love it! The VR compatibility really is the icing on the cake, in fact it makes it easier when you are mining materials

All the issues that plagued the game at launch seem to have been resolved. After my purchase of the game on top of all the free content that was already released with it they released 2 more free expansions.If you're looking for a game based on exploration and resource gathering you can't do wrong with nms. And if you want to play with others it only make the experience that much more fun.

Una delle killer app per VR. Nessun senso di nausea, a parte un po' di vertigine durante il volo (non nausea, vertigine). Gioco praticamente infinito, quasi 300 galassie da visitare, tantissime attività da svolgere. C'è semplicemente da perdersi nei meandri dello spazio infinito. Poetico.

To me is the best game ever made, has everything and never ends.
