Philippa Fisher and the Fairy's Promise

We loved The Emily Windsnap series so we gave Philippa a try. This series is just as reader friendly and fun as The Emily Windsnap series (which if you haven't read yet, then you are missing out). They make my daughter want to read more which is a sure sign that you have a good book. I read them with her and as a parent that reading with her daughter I looked forward to reading time as much as she did.

I loved the book "Philippa Fisher and the Fairies Promise". It was a little sad but very, very exciting and thrilling to me. I loved this book and rate this book five stars because I love all the Emily Windsnap books I have read so far in the series, and the Philippa Fisher books are by the same author. The book is about Philippa Fisher going on a winter vacation with her parents to see her friend, Robyn, but along with accidentally going to ATC, Above The Clouds, with her fairy godsister, Daisy, Philippa and Daisy have to go on an assignment from ATC to bring back a twelve year old boy named Tommy, and a stone fairy named Amber before midnight on new years eve because that's when the new moon raises, otherwise their world as they know it won't exist if they fail their task to retrieve the stone fairy. So they must act fast to succeed!

A great series for ages 10 and up

Nicely written story for young readers with enough events to hold their interest. I enjoyed it. Well done Liz Kessler.

My mom got the 1st book of the series for me from the library and I thought I wouldn't like it but I started to read it and it was SUCH A PAGE TURNER!!!!!! These were the best books I have ever read!! I got the 2nd one and loved the new adventure and loved how they added a new character Robyn but kept the old characters like Daisy from the first book! I got a Kindle Fire for the holidays and got the 3rd book on my Kindle Fire. I just finished it and I loved how they added the new characters like Tommy and Amber! I LOVED the twists and turns through out the story!! READ THESE BOOKS!!!!!!!!
