I am very impressed with this support arm. The installation instructions are very clear, and the supplied hardware is first quality. Installation is straightforward, you don't need any handyman skills at all. If you can't clamp to the back of your desk/table AND your desk/table does not have a grommet hole in the top you will need to drill one hole, but otherwise this installs easily with only the supplied hardware and tools. I'm only hanging a 40-incher on it, so I can't say for sure how well it functions with a full 49 on it, but I'm having absolutely no trouble adjusting all the tensions to hold my monitor exactly where I want it and yet it still allows me to change monitor position easily at will. I'd be surprised if there was a problem with a bigger, heavier monitor, but I can't say from personal experience. There's a solid, quality feel to the entire unit. If I had to hang another monitor I would buy another one of these in heartbeat. Edited 30 Days Later: Well, I've just installed a second one of these. I really do not understand the negative reviews I've seen here. I'm sure these folks are not lying...they certainly had a bad experience, but I can't imagine why. I have installed two of these now, and used the first one for a month, 6-10 hours/day, 7 days/week, and I can think of nothing bad to say. Of course my monitors are only about 28 pounds/12.5 kg, so maybe that's an issue, but it certainly seems to me that you could hang a Volkswagen off of this thing with no problems...it's that solid and the tensions are that adjustable.

I wasn't sure I wanted to trust my $1000 ultrawide monitor to a monitor arm in this price range, but I was pleasantly surprised how well made it is and how adjustable it is, after only minor adjustments at set up. The quick release vesa plate makes it easy for one person to mount the monitor without assistance. The grommet mount is rock solid.

I bought this VIVO monitor stand specifically for my 49-inch Samsung monitor, and it handles the size and weight perfectly! It feels incredibly stable and secure, which is a huge relief with such a large screen. I paired it with my VIVO desk, and the combination is seamless—it looks like they were made to go together. Best of all, it has completely cleared up my working space, giving me so much more usable desk area. The installation was a bit more difficult and time-consuming than I anticipated, but the final result is well worth the effort. Given the stability, functionality, and space it created, this is an easy 5-star product!

I am using this with a 34in 24 pound monitor. Overall it does what I need, I bought this as my old one could not support a level tilt and this one can. However, I would have doubts about it holding up over time with an Odyssey. I am ABSOLUTELY not a fan of the clamp. It is sturdy I guess I can give them that, but it is a pain in the butt to install and feels very hacked together. Range of motion left to right is pretty limited unless you want the monitor right in your face or have a very deep desk. I have not been using it long enough to comment much on stability, but at a glance it feels adequate. It shakes when I type (I am a fairly heavy typer) but so does my 27 inch monitor mounted beside it. For what its worth, I am going to keep it and try it out, but I will be curious to see how it holds up long term.

Works great, 32" monitor, no wobble, secured to a standing desk. Wish I would've bought one years ago.

Extremely durable and well made. It even has a rotation limiting feature that prevents the bottom part of the arm from going behind your desk and hitting the wall. This is the only arm that I know of at this price point with this feature and it’s not even advertised!

The product came in a large plastic bag with no protection for the pieces what so ever, inside was a half assembled arm with a ZIPLOC baggie of screws and tools, there was also no instruction manual. The plate that is supposed to connect the monitor to the arm is also visibly bent/warped.

Works very well on my odyssey g9. No sagging at all. Very well constructed. Movement is good right and left. Have to use a little force moving up but it's not too bad. Overall very good for the price point.

Quite sturdy for the price and surprisingly solid overall. It’s very easy to adjust and straighten your monitor without it feeling like it can’t handle the weight. The cable management system doesn’t completely hide the cables, so I ended up using a bit of tape to tuck the power and HDMI cables away for a cleaner look. Overall, it offers great height adjustment and sits really flush with the desk, which gives you more usable desk space. Definitely a good buy for the price.

Does what it does, providing a lil extra height when mounting your monitor. Sturdy and well-built, I can see this product lasting a great deal longer on my desk setup.

Very easy to assemble, the clamping parts definitely could be better, the monitor arm itself is durable, it supports my VG27AQ just fine, the tension is simple to adjust and manage according to your needs. Other than the clamp feeling flimsy, it's worth the money for a cheap monitor arm.

I’m using this VIVO Heavy Duty Aluminum Ultrawide Monitor Tension Arm with my Samsung Odyssey 49-inch widescreen monitor, and overall it’s been really good so far. It was easy to mount, feels very sturdy, and supports the monitor well. I didn’t need any additional screws, which made installation even easier. One thing to keep in mind is that I needed a custom base adapter to fit the monitor to the arm. In my case, that adapter usually comes with the monitor, so it wasn’t a big issue. It’s only been a week, so I can’t speak to the long-term durability yet, but my first impression is very positive. So far, it feels solid and secure, and I’ll update my review if anything goes wrong.
