for Ford Edge 2007~2014 Car Rear View Camera Back Up Reverse Parking Camera/Plug Directly

I would say this is fairly easy to install. The hardest part is the lift gate disassembly. But once that is done its pop out the license plate light and insert this, run the wire behind the housing, and go from there. Not high end but does the job.

This is what I needed if I could get it to fit in. Unfortunately, this adapter/enclosure is just too long to be able to fit it in the opening right above my car’s license plate of my lift gate. I cannot fit that notch in one of the ends because of the length of the adapter without braking the plastic notch. That’s not taking in consideration the thickness of the wire of the cam which makes it impossible. So I’m just dumbfounded on how they built these things without actually studying the measurements. If someone knows what to do please let me know because it just doesn’t fit.

Like the camera only issue is that it is not centered in the car and throws off angle when reversing and reverse parking

FYI - You will need to cut into your existing harness in order to avoid running new wires under the carpet all the way back to your head unit. This is more of a "universal" camera that has an adapter that replaces one of your license plate lights. New license plate light (cover) has an attachment with the universal camera attached to it. It's a little bit misleading but works if you work for it.
