I recommend this book because many families come from dual cultures. I love that the little girl loves both her cultures and enjoys spending time with both sets of grandparents. My classroom is a bilingual (Spanish, English) classroom and we have enjoyed the book very much. Most of my students can identify with their relationship with their abuelitos. I also love Alma Flor Ada.

We love this book about a child who has grandparents from two different cultures and enjoys time with both of them.
