Absolute garbage and my dog is gone because of this collar!!! My 120 lb German shepherd has to be on a chain (30 feet long so he can run the whole yard without jumping the fence) when he is outside and he managed to unsnap it not once but TWICE! He didn't break it, he didn't slip out of it, HE MANAGED TO GET THE BUCKLE UNDONE TWICE! The first time we were lucky and he came back on his own and figured it was due to my husband clipping his chain on the wrong spot on the collar so I personally fixed it and made sure it was all put on properly and he is gone now. I have never, ever, out of all the dogs/collars I've ever owned ever had the collar buckle just unfasten but it happened more than once with this one. Now my dog is gone, without his ID tag and we cannot find him. All because of this product.

I was a little concerned when I bought this as so many people had shared about the chain breaking. Figured I would give it a try and could return if that happened. But it hasn’t and I have a crazy strong French bulldog who uses this collar. In fact, when he starts to pull and this collar goes snug he immediatelySits down and waits until he is allowed to continue walking. I was kind of astonished that it worked so well on him as we have tried all sorts of “no pull” collars/harnesses, etc. the other nice thing about this collar is there is a small locking mechanism on the clasp so it cannot come unclasped during the walk. If anything my only negative would be that this lock piece is a little difficult to unlock, kinda gets stuck sometimes, but I prefer that to the opposite!

The only nice thing I can say is that it’s pretty. I had my 4 month old puppy wearing the small, on a tether line in the front yard. She gave it a good pull and the metal chain snapped right off the collar which then fell off of her. Luckily I live in a culdesac and my puppy came to me when I called. That was one of those moments where time slows and every second seems long. A dog collar just can’t be falling apart like that. That could have gone very badly. I have used many martingales over the years. I know how they are supposed to fit. This one just wasn’t made well at all.

I bought the Mighty Paw collar prior to this one but felt it was too big (the medium was both too wide and the chain was too big and heavy). Because it was so heavy, it loosened over time. So I searched and found this one. It was hard to find a medium size collar that was less than one inch wide like this one. Also, the chain is smaller. For these reasons, I like this one much better.

I got one of these in red for my 100lb male Blue Pit Bull named Jimmie. The red was beautiful & still is.I decided to buy one for my girl, Bella Ann. Hers is a beautiful pinkLove the collars. We had ones that were cloth & metal interwoven. I hated to pull them on that collar.These are well made. They fit perfectly I know she’s as 18-22 inch range. Jimmie’s larger. 24” minimum.They both fit straight out the box. I feel better with less metal.

This collar is well made, sturdy and size medium fits our 4 month old Golden. It’s not a cure for pulling, but it’s helping with training. It’s better for controlling him rather than the slip leash we had been using. He’s too young for the metal slip collar so this is definitely helpful.

I know this is a martingale collar and sizing should be fairly easy to get right, but I’ve had a hard time finding one that isn’t super narrow or super wide...or made of flimsy material. This collar works great and looks great. I bought it for a 5 month old lab puppy. She pulls out of regular collars and I don’t want to take a chance on her pulling out of it and running into traffic. I bought the medium red collar. I love the color of red this is too - it’s a regal red - not bright and in your face. Definitely recommend it and the seller. Received quickly - faster than expected.

We have a husky. With all her fur, her measurements were between 2 sizes. We initially opted for the larger size. We quickly realized there was no tension on the collar because the lead rings touched together before creating any tension, making the collar not work as intended. We came back and ordered the smaller size and now it works great.

Ordered the small based on measurements they state and product was way too big.

It’s suitable for smaller dogs.
