Duofilm Liquid Salicylic Acid Wart Remover - 1/3 Oz (Pack of 2)

This product needs to be less like water, and more like a gel to stay put. You try to put it on and it just drips everywhere. The applicator is just a straight plastic piece that has nothing to hold the liquid-it just drips everywhere. It was very messy, you have to clean it off of your skin or it will "burn" that area too, instead of just the wart area. I'd say it has a very mild burn sensation that only lasted a minute or two, but nothing that was bad at all, even for children. The product actually started breaking down the wart as it is supposed to (no products get rid of the root of the wart unless you use it for 4 months- who has time for that?). I wanted to decrease the visibility of the wart on my finger until I could get into my dermatologist. It did that well, just difficult to apply to your skin and messy.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do and this is actually what dermatologist give to people to use to apply a frozen treated area. yes....it is annoying that you have to use this and change this every day for a few weeks, but I keep using it beyond the point where you are supposed to, meaning I allow it to irritate my skin when when my skin is red because if it doesn't get to that point, I found that the stupid suckers grow back, but if i continue applying it when the skin is already red, it really gets rid of the virus. I've never had a virus pop up in the same place after using it because I'm pretty confident I got rid of several layers of skin. lol

So glad I found this online! This stuff works like a miracle. Years ago it had to be prescription only. It was prescribed for me for a planters wart I had on my foot. Many years later I had a problem wart that my doctor was treating. It had been burned and then lasered deeply because it kept coming back. I contacted a dermatologist and told them what had already been done, they said to get this product. At that time I could find it at the pharmacy (no prescription needed). I can no longer find it in stores. So glad I found it here!

This review is for the Duofilm liquid remover...not the pads. We have tried everything on the plantar warts on my son's feet. He has had them for years and they were multiplying. We've tried expensive freezing treatments ($200/visit) several times with NO success. He even had extremely painful yeast injections in his feet in order to trigger his immune system to kill them - did that work? Nope. A friend recommended DuoFilm liquid and I reluctantly purchased it thinking that this will never work because the expensive medical treatments that we've tried didn't work. To start I diligently applied the liquid once daily to his feet...after 5 days of continuous application I then began peeling the dead skin and reapplied the liquid every night. We went through this daily for about 3 weeks and last night my son looked at me said, "my plantar warts are gone! I can feel my skin again!" This is the only treatment that we have found that has helped us. I can't believe how much I've spent on other treatments when all I needed to spend was $16 for two bottles of DuoFilm liquid.

I had a wart on the outside of my hand. It was fairly small but had grown a bit in the last few months. I kept putting it off but it was starting to get nasty. I bought this stuff and had read to use an Emory board or nail file and then to apply the acid on it. I did that the first time I applied it and applied the acid twice daily. It was literally gone within a day and a half. I peeled off the bandaid and the wart came off. It was surprisingly not painful. I have what appears to be new skin underneath. I'm not sure what to do at this point (maybe cover it to allow it to heal). I would highly recommend this product.

This stuff works, but it takes time. The deeper the wart, the longer it seems to take. I don't care for the smell - it smells like a strong nail polish or something. I wish there had been better instructions as to how to use this. But reading the reviews helped clear up some things. But overall this is a good product. I have had it for some time and use it at least once a day. There were times I forgot, but in the time I have had it I have noticed a difference.

This was a great find for the plantar warts on my feet (I have one on each foot). I could tell it started working when I put it on, but be careful with this. It works so well because of the concentration of Salicylic Acid in it, if you are like me, two applications a day (morning and night) will make you sick. I now have to do one application every 2/3 days at night only. Though, don't let this deter you from the product, my warts are going away, but I cannot be dizzy/lightheaded and feeling ill from this while at work.

This was recommended by our dermatologist and it worked like magic! Although not everyone's skin reacts the same with certain medication, i hope this one will work as great as how it did with us to whoever who is in search for a wart remover that is OTC.

i wish this came with more bandaids, but... tis fixed the problem so...but im sensitive and it is mildly caustic because its burning the warts off and my skin is a little thinner where this was applied. so, although ive applied it twice, im going to wait a little to do it a third time.but important as people say to let the solution sit and then put bandaids on.i use stretchable bandaids overtop to stop me from being too rough on my hands when i am healing
