*Update: I've contacted the seller since placing this review and have not gotten any form of response. I also started a refund in hopes that, instead of me sending a bag of cut-up pieces of my screen which they certainly cannot resell and will just throw away, maybe they would send me extra magnet clips, or strips, or their old model...I don't know. A response would be nice.*Because of this, I downgraded to 1 star and would go lower if I could. I suppose I'll fill a box with all the random leftover pieces of screen and cut magnetic strip chunks back to the seller. At least Amazon cares for its customers and will refund. Seller makes false claims in advertisements and doesn't care. YAY CHINA!*Original: I wanted to love this product and I really needed it to work, or else my cat, who uses this window as a door, will bring me half-dead mice. I had just installed a velcro screen door and I could not be happier with it, so I thought this magnetic upgrade would be even better for my window.First, installation does NOT TAKE TEN MINUTES! This is my main reason for the poor review. I don't forgive false advertising.If there's a person who can do this in ten minutes, I want proof. I'm very handy around the house. I'm good at these things. Frankly, while the idea behind the design seemed great at first, it was really beyond frustrating to assemble. I almost threw it out in a fit of rage. HOWEVER, when it was finally finished, I was excited. It looks great on my window frame inside and the screen is as close to invisible as it can get.I installed this around 1AM on 4/7...it is now around 6AM on 4/10. I just came home from work to find the screen on the floor and when I put it back up it slowly slides and falls. To be clear, my window is 34" by 36"ish...so...not extraordinarily large. The magnetic strip that adheres to the window frame is solid...no issues with the adhesive. The magnetic strips on the outside/window frame side of the screen are in tact as if they're one. Even the snapped-on frame on the inside of the screen is in place; and that's the piece I was skeptical about at first. The problem appears to be that all of the strips and pieces you attach to the screen itself are too heavy; and after just 3 days, the window frame magnet seems unable to support the weight of the screen and its gear.The ad says that this magnetic strip idea is an upgrade...I'm curious if the old model was a velcro mount like my screen door?? If so, I would really appreciate the seller sending me that instead. I would entirely change to rave reviews if that's the case. Otherwise, for me, this was a waste of $30 and too much of my time.

The item was missing a corner piece. However after contacting the seller, a replacement order was created immediately the next day. Normally I don't leave reviews but this level of customer service must be recognized.As for the product, it was very easy to install as the instructions were pretty clear. I was hesitant to purchase at first because of the price. The parts are of good quality, including the screen. It's perfect for our condo and allows us to leave the windows open without worrying about any type of bugs.

I like these magnetic window screens but you need a handy man who knows how to install them. My windows are tall and each window takes about 45 minutes to install the screen. I am not a handy man and that's how long it took our maintenance man to do it. Of course if it was a bit cheaper that would have been nice. Over all they are a clean nice and light way of screening your windows with.

Used to replace old screens on skylight windows in the attic space. Very easy to put up.... First window took a bit of extra time for reading instructions but once we got it figured out (which was easy)..... the placement of both screens took less than one hour.You should have 2 people to get it straight and tight and be able to hold the roll as the second person installs the strips.We had to place them inside which makes it almost impossible to wash windows without remove them but for screen doors ,these would work great.

trying to thread the strips together is very hard - strips do not slide inside each other together easily even after using WD-40 - gave up after several tries - through in garbage - wasted my money and time - don't buy

Easy to install ver sturdy and so far had survived the very windy part of San Francisco and still in place and works great

This replacement screen kit was just "okay." It was not very easy to do and the instructions were awful. I did figure it out and it came out "okay," but in the future, I'd buy a kit that has regular metal edges and spline instead.

Works as advertised. Easy installation with common tools. Does good job on privacy, best on sunny days. On cloudy days or twilight, or even when lights on in house on cloudy days, not as private, hence the 4 stars.

Don’t buy this product because they will not send the items as showed in images and if you return the product then you won’t even get your money back.
