This did the job for me. I binned the aerial as that wasn't as good as the original VW one. I only needed a base as mine was water damaged which appears to be the std fault with most cars over a few years old. With the std VW original aerial, this performs very well. If you need the aerial pole, then look to get an original one from somewhere else.

Car wash ripped off my old aerial, this one works even better than the old did! Highly recommend! 2004 Vw Bora, tricky installation but worth the effort

Wasn't the problem of no signal but still a new antenna.

Antenna's amplifier was failing in my father's MK4 golf, so replaced it with this one. Looks good and fits good, just like the original. No issues since it was fitted so Positive feedback.Fitting was no more difficult than removing the original, check youtube for videos on removal and its easy enough to get it done in 10-15 minutes.Delivery and packaging were good also.
