Chef Craft Select Bamboo Chopsticks 4 piece set, Natural

My oldest son is heading off to his own place soon and needed a rice paddle. He chose this wood one and is very pleased with it. It is a good size and shape, and scoops the rice out of a rice cooker well. The hole in the handle for hanging it is a nice feature, although he isn't sure if he will use it, but it is still nice to have that option.

Were a gift to my grandson. He enjoys the novelty of using chopsticks to eat Chinese food. He has used them several times and they appear to be durable and easy to clean.

I like the shape of these, because the curved part fits right into the edge of most skillets and the flat part will allow you to deglaze the bottom. Plus, the bamboo won't scratch nonstick cookware.However, the two I bought could have used a little more work in the manufacturing process. They came a little rough. I spent about five minutes on each one with some 150 grit and then 220 grit sandpaper, then I coated them thoroughly in two coats of mineral oil. Now they're great, but you'll have to decide if you want to put in that effort.

We use these chopsticks all the time and they are exactly what we needed. The bamboo is simple enough to use every day, but attractive enough to pull out for dinner guests. If you take care of them (no dishwasher), they hold up incredibly well.

Just as described. Wanted stainless steel but read too many reviews which said they get hot and slide through your fibers. Went back to old faithful, bamboo. Got the natural, gorgeous, natural bamboo colour, thick, square shape sits nicely in hand and does the job! Great price too.

The spatula on the left is the one that I bought 4 months ago... the one on the right is one that I've had for 10+ years. The spatula I purchased started molding after sitting in the dishwasher for just 20 hours. If it's bamboo, it's a low quality almost wood-like bamboo. Very rough and splintery. Threw it in the trash, do not buy!

I'm Asian so chopsticks are a kitchen staple in my home. I love these chopsticks. They don't have the gloss that many others do and whatever you're eating or cooking doesn't cling to it when washing like wooden chopsticks do. They're thicker and shorter than what we usually have at home but we've gotten used to it. In fact, I've replaced all our chopsticks with these as of late. They do have a slight smell to them out of the package so handwashing a few times before using is a good idea.

First time using them, wasn’t hard at all, in fact I enjoyed using them 😊

They are a step up from takeout chopsticks. But I actually quite like them. I’m the only one that eats with chopsticks at our house and I’ve only used one pair several times already with no deterioration of them yet.
