It works well
Good tape. It really sticks. I used this to keep my 6x9 living room rug on the carpet after putting the pad underneath it. My hallway runner no longer walks to the bathroom door. This is a sticky tape. Great for rug on carpet. You have to be careful when cutting it because it leaves your scissors dirty also when you cut it you have to take off the paper slowly I should go along if you take off all the paper one time then you going to have a problem and have to throw the tape away. Quite easy to install no odor. I think its overpriced though

Actually works carpet to carpet.
Works beautifully, sticks nicely even to old filthy carpet. Keeps rug firmly in place and eliminates the risk of tripping on the edges. As for getting the adhesive off of your scissors after cutting, rubbing alcohol is your friend. Scrubbing with soap will have little to no effect, but rubbing alcohol quickly broke down the adhesive and made it easy to remove from the blades. Then I finish by running my scissors the dishwasher and you couldn't even tell that it ever cut through loads of extremely sticky tape. Easy to manage as long as your thoughtful about it. And it seems to be holding well. Truthfully, it's a good thing I never really intend to move this rug, because I'm not sure that I could get it up without pulling up the carpet underneath of it. So it might not be the best choice for renters unless the carpet you're using it on is really low pile.

IDEAL for Throw Rug to Carpet
This tape is amazing. Bonded a 6x9 throw rug straight to carpet with zero bubbles or catches to the carpet (taped around perimeter + vertical strips every 12") in the final outcome. Did not need to be weighted down after placement; adherence was instant. No damage to underlying carpet on test removal, but removal took some strength. The grip is solid. There was still leftover tape on the roll after the above measurements of Use *and* a few feet of errors & testing. Apl in all, I'm completely confident that there is no danger of tripping or slippage. It's difficult to find tape that successfully binds fabric to fabric & I didn't think it would be possible without some kind of Velcro product, but this did it, much cheaper & well worth the very reasonable price.

Hard to cut!
This carpet tape works very well, and is very sticky, however, it is very wide and difficult to cut into smaller pieces. Next time I will search for a role that is half of the width of this roll. My last roll was much thinner and easier to cut.

I bet you you could put a house together with this stuff holding all the materials together
This stuff is strong when you put it down on the carpet push it down onto the surface it's going to stay there. Just be warned how much used to hold the carpet down because you're going to have to take that much force to get it back up. This stuff is excellent and vicious and will take the hair off your arm in a heartbeat. The only complaint I got against it is it was a little difficult for me to peel the backing from the tape. But it was much easier than the other brands I have to tried. I tried this stuff out on a 4-ft carpet square put tape around all four edges. I tried to do the spin to see if it would budge it didn't I did. Couldn't be more happy with a product to hold carpet down. Give it a try.

Great tape, very adhesive and easy to use
I have large dogs and they always messed my carpet up. This tape is amazing, it is very durable and easy to use. This tape actually works well and keeps the carpet in place, and is easily removed if needed. The thickness is perfect, it doesn’t disrupt the level of the carpet. A very versatile product as i have used it in other settings as well.

Hard to cut and tear
This stuff is super sticky and works well. Problem is hard to cut. Gets stuck all over the scissors then the tape bunches up.

If you want a dble sided tape that sticks, THIS is it
Like many others here, I don’t often leave reviews. BUT: Oh my gosh! I really never expected any tape to be this strong. It’s almost too sticky. I’m using it to secure an 8x10 area rug on top of carpet in an apt I’m renting. I tried multiple other options: 2 different kinds of mats you put under a carpet to hold in place. Neither worked. Rug still buckled etc. Tried 3 other dble sided adhesives that were supposed to work. They did not. I placed strips of those tapes all around the under edges but they just didn’t hold this rug in place. By the way, it’s not one of those flimsy, lightweight area rugs. So, I bought 2 boxes of this one. I don’t know why I bought 2! The package info was clear there would be plenty for my use! Anyway, for at least the 4th time since I bought this rug, I rolled it up to begin the process of taping the underside perimeter. I also taped 6’ lengths horizontally, approximately 2’ apart, to help keep this pesky thing in its place. The tape is so sticky it even gummed up my scissors. As I taped the perimeter, I’d unroll a bit more of the rug, place the tape, pull off the paper from top layer, stick it to the carpet & so on. I walked around the perimeter and all over the rug once it was all taped to make sure it would adhere well. Put my dining room table & chairs back in place and the following day thought I’d check just how well this tape works. All I can say is I hope my security deposit will cover the cost of how much the wall to wall carpet gets ripped off the floor if I ever decide to move & take the area rug with me! It REALLY WORKS!!!!
