Apple MFi Certified Lightning Cable - Skiva USBLink Duo 2-in-1 Sync and Charge Cable (3.2 ft / 1m) with Lightning & microUSB for iPhone 11 Xs Xr X 8, iPad Air, Samsung Galaxy S7 (White) [Model:CB104]

I thought this was a great idea to have on my car. I'm a Apple user, but there are always times when a friend of mine needs a micro USB. I liked the charger, as the cord is flexible but sturdy feeling at the same time. The charging ports are not too wide either, only slightly larger than the original Apple charger. This cable can NOT charge two phones at the same time. It is simply an adapter that is attached to a USB cable. Which means, less chance of losing the adapter. I only had it for a month, so I can't judge on how long it will last, but so far it has been charging fine for iPhones, tablets, and android phones.I tried to plug another micro USB cable to the adapter to see if it works (just for fun), and of course it did. So, if the cable breaks for any reason, you can just cut the adapter and still use (it just won't be attached). On the other note, this IS a MFi certified cable, no warning or messages on any of Apple product when I used to charge it. Overall I'm happy about this buy.

The cable (3.2ft) works as advertised. I have it only one day and I've tested it's micro-USB and lightning connectors to charge an iphone5s and and a iphone6plus. It worked (I used a usb battery and a usb hub to charge the iPhones, no issues). I used the micro-USB to charge a nexus7 tablet and then a bluetooth headset. Again, no issues. The cable length is more than enough for a desk use but I bought it for the car charger. Having only one cable makes it so much easier! The quality of the cable is good (ok, only have it for one day!) I hope it will last the frequent use of the micro-usb and lightning connectors.Updated: Nov 27th, 2015 for the 0.5ft version.After 5 months of using the longer (3.2ft) version I wanted to see if the short one (0.5ft) was as good for my uses. So far (a few days) it works as expected and it's mostly useful when I want to charge my phone and bluetooth headset with my laptop's USB. So, I don't need the longer cable (that I leave in the car). So far, it's excellent for the job and I save space from a dual cable that's short and well...just one instead of two!

I was excited to stumble upon this product because I'm always looking to reduce clutter in my travel bag. I spotted the name brand version of this at an airport when I was down a cable but it was way too expensive. I'd never heard of Skiva brand but for $11 thought I'd give it a shot. It came packaged well and felt like great quality.I plugged it into my Apple power cube and then my iPhone but my iPhone didn't recognize it. I tried another power cube with same results. Finally I popped off the Lightning cable adapter to expose the micro USB port and tried charging my Kindle still no result. I should have stopped there but I didn't. I plugged it into my Anker power bank which immediately alerted a default indicating a short.This could be a bad production run as it seems others have had positive experiences but when it comes to changing high dollar devices I think I'll just stick with brands I know and trust: OEMs, Belkin, Anker, etc.This cord comes with a 1-year warranty but I think I'll just return it and look elsewhere.

Fantastic product and simplifies the need to have two different cables in house with many different products. The reason I am rating it 4 stars is simply because of a concern. The wire is made of strong material, not the cheap plastic you get at the dollar store. However, the point where the Apple connector is attached to the main cord seems to be a little weaker and when you remove it to use the micro USB its almost impossible to do so delicately and with continued use I am worried that it might not work anymore. Also I'm kind of bummed that you can't dual charge, at least with my outlet I couldn't, perhaps with a stronger one you could but I have not tested it yet. All in all its a great charging device and I would recommend it to anyone with the annoyance of having to plug and unplug different cables to charge two different devices.

I bought 2 cables and they are very useful!! But within only a few weeks, the Lightning adapter fell out of one of them with little force, and the second one’s USB end is loose and provides inconsistent power. These issues make it hard to love the product. I do love the concept!! Especially for EDC and either charging the iPhone, or an external battery for using the iPhone, or my work phone, a Samsung Galaxy S4. The problem is also the build quality causes issues with the EDC concept. Carrying this cable around I think may have applied it to forces with which it wasn’t properly tested. Build quality just isn’t up to par.

Ordered two cables for use in car and at home/travel. Seller provided pretty prompt service (although, I should have ordered the cables at least a day earlier so I'd have had them on a recent road trip). Opened packages last night, tested the cables, and they work fine. No connection problems with iPhone that reviewers of other products have experienced. Yes, a bit more expensive than other lightning cables, but being Apple certified provides the peace of mind that other products don't provide (really, there isn't a product available that can't be made cheaper--in quality and in materials used--and you get what you pay for). I'll update the review in a few months if any problems occur with the product, but based on other reviews of this product, that's unlikely.

Great idea. You get the micro USB and the lightning plugs in one. It works well.ADDENDUM. After having use this for the last 6 months, all the connections are beginning to be loose and it doesn't always work right. I have to say that the microUSB is still working and that is what I use it for (i.e. to charge devices with microUSB) but the lighting connector no longer consistently charges. Whether certified or not, mechanical connections wear out and the cable no longer is reliable. Because of this experience, I am buying more expensive cables that are single-purpose.
