Better than the junk at walmart!
These work perfectly! I bought another set from Walmart because I was too impatient to wait for these, and had planned to return these. Big mistake, the walmart magnets suck and can barely hold a small 36" long curtain! So these get to stay after all, the magnet is larger and stronger and these dont budge with simply opening and closing the curtains like the other ones did.

So glad I bought these
These worked perfect for my French doors. I didnt want to drill holes or install hardware. These are exactly what I needed. No slipping whatsoever. I've seen others comment that they slide. There is a sticker on the back of each magnet that must be peeled off before you connect them to your door. I haven't had any problems with them sliding.I would highly recommend these.

Works but don’t fiddle with it.
Update: it’s been 2 days and I put up a different curtain (that better matches the decor), when removing the rods (to change curtain) one of the magnets stayed on the door detached from the piece holding the rod in place. I strongly suggest once you’ve put the rods up don’t touch the curtain or rods again, they look nice but are very fragile. I was able to put it back together but now I fear next time it will completely break and not be able to put back together.Original review; Put these rods up as soon as I received them. They stick to the door so long as you don’t fiddle with the curtain. I do wish that you could lock the rod to your desired length rather then redoing it when they fall off as you fiddle with the curtain to get the gathers just right. The rest was really impressive. I didn’t want to put holes in the door putting a curtain rod up so these rods are magic. Love having curtains up on my back door and not open for people to see in. We’ve had trouble with unknown people in the back yard a couple of months ago and was really contemplating putting holes in for privacy in case some one else pops up back there. Love the option of having curtains up and not puncturing the hollow door.

Very strong magnets! A great buy!
Great price and very sturdy. The magnets are very powerful. I used the rods on my metal back doors and they don't move with the constant opening and closing. Plus, I installed these in less than a minute. A great purchase!

Strong magnets but cheap materials.
When I read “2 sets”, I interpreted that as 2 sets of 2 rods, (1 set usually meaning a pair of rods). Not so. Buy 1 box per door if you’re using them for a double door. It only has 2 rods I ordered only 1 box, then had to order a 2nd box. The magnetic square came apart from the casing when pulled away from the door when I first attached the rod and pulled on it to straighten it out. These feel really cheap. I plan to return them.

Magnet is strong. Will need to help adjust rod to stay in
The magnet seems to be holding on my back door ok.Getting the tubes to stay in was a nightmare. Had to add black electrical tape to rods to keep in the magnet ends. Holds up 1 panel made for a full glass back door. I have 1 on top and 1 on bottom of window. After our fix it has not fallen down. The magnet always stayed fyi. That was never the problem.

Mediocre, OK if you don't mind extra work.
Great idea, poor execution.1. Magnets are strong, but should probably be stronger. If you plan to squeeze the curtain in the middle, it pulls the bars down and they don't stay in place. Curtains just cannot be tight no matter how much you want that. The strength just isn't there. It's functional, just not perfect.2. The pipes don't fit in the end pieces correctly, they're very loose. They fall out of both sides. I ended up super glueing them into the end pieces. It's a solution, just not sure how long that will work. I could have used construction glue, but I didn't have any on hand. After glueing, I just side one tube into the other to assemble. Don't lose the cheap junky plastic piece that keeps the tubes from grinding on each other. The brown looks like "bronze" in photos, looks like brown plastic when you get them. Meh, minor ordeal. Not really a big deal, just a warning if you're aiming for that look like we were.

Not good quality
Magnets came apart from the rod. Really unhappy because they also chipped my door paint because of the strength and awkwardness of getting the magnet off once the rod detached from magnet. This happened on almost all of the ends.

Magnets not strong enough
Don't waste your money.. These curtain rods are not powerful enough to hang a full curtain on a full lite door. They barely hold it there... If the door gets shut hard by wind or you brush up against it... It will fall off. I'm looking for better rods.

not great
The product looks nice, however if you have any weight to the curtain that you are hanging on these the magnets won't sustain the weight and the rod will slowly slide down. The rod itself is not great either as it does not have any locking action. It is a 2 piece rod (not including the 2 magnetic end pieces) and the rod will slide out of the end pieces and fall if you move the curtain at all.

The ends all cracked
The poles are metal and sturdy but the ends are plastic and they cracked very quickly. My hubby just glued them with super glue and they work fine now.

Improper fit
Would have been perfect but there was only one rod holder with a smaller hole to hold the smaller end of the rod so now one side falls out all the time.
