My go to trout lure
These Blue Fox Minnow Spins are my go to spinners. I am sure everyone has their favorite lure that they have caught a lot of fish on and this is mine. I go on weeklong backpacking trips and I bring three different colors of this lure and some power bait. I can always count on at least two dinners of fish(that is usually all the fish I want in a week). I have always had better success with the Minnow Spin than with Rooster Tails and Panther Martins. I have the most success with the brown trout version(it may be the gold spinner rather than the silver on most other models). I like to let these sink for ten seconds or so before I start reeling with a medium retrieve. If it hits the bottom, just don't let it sink as long. I have caught may a fish with these. I posted a pic of our last trip in Southern Oregon where we caught some nice trout with these lures.

Almost any fish will hit this lure as long as you present it to them in a way that appeals to them.
I have been using blue fox spinner baits for more than half my life, and they have always been good to me. I started using this particular model a few years ago and it blows my mind just how many species of fish will go for it in just about any location or weather conditions. Just last week I went to a public lake with tons of people fishing it and almost every single person asked me, "How are you catching so many fish? I can't even get a bite." I told them all it was the lure and the way you feel it in. Not trying to brag, but I was one of the only 2 people to catch any fish that day, and I pulled in about 17.

here in New Jersey where I live it is still pretty cold but I went out a few times and I do not tired very good not around the hook and I lost the bait so I cannot test it anymore because I lost it in the water what a waste of money but the few times that I did cast it out it seemed to work pretty good

Secret weapon for trout fishing
My buddy hooked me on these lures this year and it's silly not to have these in your tackle box when you're fishing for trout. I had more action the 3 days I used this lure than I have had all year with a regular hook.
