Best pressed seams ever!
Not disappointed. This makes my seams super flat. I am very sensitive to wool and this really aggravated me for the first few uses but now that the flyaway bits from manufacturing are gone it doesn’t bother me unless I carry it or lean on it. But, that’s just an issue for people with wool/lanolin sensitivity and it improves the quality of my pressing so much that it is worth it. The size is great for pressing blocks and FQs and it is excellent as a travel option for ironing. As a glamper, it will be part of my RV sewing setup.

Love this pad!
This pad is very even, no soft or thin spots. I am a first time user of wool ironing pads and I will use these forever, its much nicer than a regular ironing board cover because it doesn't let the fabric slide so no non wanted creases result. I also love the included eyeglass case, its perfect for my scissors or my cutting wheel, I wish you offered the cases alone, as I'd like a couple more.

Great purchase!
No smell. The two pads I ordered sit on a melamine cart top to make a 34x27" ironing surface for large ironing projects (I have a small one that sits next to my sewing machine for ironing as I sew). LOVING THEM! They don't scoot apart, there doesn't seem to be any heat or moisture transfer to the cart. Great use of wool's best features - from a family that raises sheep.

perfect addition on my sewing table
I do not like to open my ironing board for sewing projects. Too big and bulky. But this mat, on my sewing table, allows me to iron seams and pieces of fabric perfectly. Directions state to not use steam so I find no odor to be offended by. It is natural wool and if you wet it, it will smell like wet wool! It is true to size and thickness and I can pin my projects to it. Thank you for providing me with a great sewing tool.

Love these!
I love love love mine for quilting! I bought them also for my 3 daughters and my mom. Not all are quilters. They use them for everyday ironing. Only thing is the wet wool smell when using steam, but so worth it for the results Also so much better to store than an ironing board

Convenient size and use
This is a great wool ironing mat. It fits perfectly on my kitchen counter. Now I can do my quick pressing of my quilting pieces without having to drag out my full size ironing board. Item came quickly and was sealed in plastic. It does have a slight smell when ironing, but it is not offensive and will probably dissipate in time.

Great quality and a reasonable price... you can’t go wrong.
This wool mat is great! I bought a smaller, much more expensive mat from another company, and I knew I needed a big one, but couldn’t bring myself to pay what they wanted. I took a chance on this based on the few reviews that were here, and I am so glad I did. I used this mat pretty much every day last week for a sewing project, and I can’t be happier. I would definitely purchase again without hesitation!

Quick pressing accessory
This is the perfect accessory for our sewing table. We use this when we are doing patchwork piecing and need to do a quick pressing on the piece before and after sewing. No smell when wet or hot. No shedding on the fabric.

Awesome purchase! And you can’t beat the price!
This is the first time owning a wool ironing mat. I’ve wanted one for a long time but couldn’t justify paying almost $100.This mat is awesome! Yes, it does five off a bit of a smell...think because it’s just wool, but it doesn’t make the price you iron smell. I assume this will dissipate with use. And you can’t beat this price! I’d recommend this specific company in a heartbeat for anyone looking to purchase this kind of wool ironing mat.

perfect size for my sewing table!
Worth buying it. I do not want large or too small but perfect size which it is! I put it on one flat drawer beside the sewing table and I use it all the time. My cats love it, too. When I open it, it does give some smell but not bad. Smell went away in few min or hours. I could not believe how well to use iron on it. As long as no steaming iron, only dry iron.

Don't use with higher heat!
Really questioning the 100% wool content. First time trying and it melted the surface onto my iron. It took fine steel wool to get it off! I used more than medium heat as advised but 100% wool NEVER sticks to a hot iron. I can only assume there is some kind of glue involved with the felting process. Fibers are shiny in the sunlight so I am not even convinced it's actually wool and it certainly does not have the lanolin smell of 100% sheep wool even when using the steam function. It will have its uses but very disappointed and cannot recommend.

Ecoigy 17" x 24" Wool Ironing Pad, 1/2" Thick Wool Pressing Mat
This pressing mat is great for quilting and other things. I ironed some new tissue pattern pieces on this mat and the results were excellent. I'm thinking of purchasing a second mat so I can have a large ironing space on my new cutting table (or at least the cutting table I'm waiting for).

Dense, in the good way.
The wool seems dense and thickly felted. Been using it almost daily for 2 months and it hasn't compressed.Really enjoying using this for pressing fabric while quilting. Plus this mat gives off a great wooly smell when hit with steam.
