Knifes
Best knifes i've ever used. Great weight and quality. Beautifully designed and, they remain sharp longer than any others i've used. I recently added to my collection. I've had my others for around a year and they've still not had to be sharpened. I would have bought the set with the block. However, a professional chef said never put them in a block because it blunts them and you'll end up needing to sharpen them more often. Everytime you put them in the block or take them out it blunts them a little more each time. I keep mine in a drawer or, if you have room in the kitchen you could invest in a knife magnet bar to mount on a wall in your kitchen and have them on display.

A good value paring knife
This 3.5in. paring knife was one of 3 knives purchased from Paudin. Having recently retired I now have more time to indulge in cooking as a hobby. During a make over of our kitchen, I invested for the first time in my life in a good quality cooks knife and 3 secondary use knives for vegetables, fruit etc. I spent some time reading reviews of kitchen knives and what you got for your money. The Paudin knives were well reported on, without needing a second mortgage to buy 3. The knives were delivered in a smart presentation box and were `sticky` sharp when I came to use one. They are very nicely finished, well balanced and retain an edge well. I have had / used them for around 3 weeks on a daily basis and only needed to touch one up with a steel to get it back to `razor` sharp. Well pleased with my purchase.

Beautifully made.
Bought as a birthday gift so wouldn’t have been my choice as the handle isn’t shaped well for the hand and is too big for me. The blade is excellent though so I will enjoy using it sometimes.
