Great for the doggo on vacation at Yosemite
We have a 20+ lb Shiba who isn't always the most cooperative for long walks. We were headed to Yosemite and wanted to cover some distance and decided to take the bikes and bought this trailer. Actually worked out better than expected due to the high 90* temps that can be tough on everyone if we had tried to walk everywhere. It's bigger than needed for our pup, but gave her lots of room to move around. Easy to assemble and attach to bike. Worked with the quick release skewer on a Trek MTB. Also worked great for a run to the market sans dog in the middle of the camping trip. Good value and good quality. Had tried to find one on FB of CL used but everyone wants about the same price as an Amazon one delivered to your house. Definitely recommend

High quality item.
This is a pretty solid, hefty trailer here. It is made of steel, and is obviously very durable. It was easy to put together. I would imagine it would take about ten minutes or less to collapse for storage if you're kind of slow at those sorts of things. Someone good at assembly could assemble or collapse it in five minutes. It does have a rather pungent new plastic smell. It's been about 36 hours since I opened it and assembled it and the smell is still just as strong as when I took it out of the box. I'm hoping it will air out eventually. I still haven't ridden my bike with it yet. I will try to update after that happens. **Update - I've ridden with it approximately 50 miles now and it works perfectly. I live at the beach so I not only ride down the road with it, but I unhitch it from my bike and walk the trailer onto the beach. I have a small 25 lbs dog, so I pack a few other items in the trailer, like water, my camera, etc, and a strap a beach umbrella to the top of it. *** Update - I've ridden quite a lot with the trailer (I live at the beach) and so far it has held up very well --- with one exception. The tires. Yes, they are cheap tires and there is a flat spot worn on one of them that causes a "bump bump bump" noise and rattles my poor little dog. Threads are already showing on the tire where the flat spot is. How the spot got there.. I do not know. I kept the tires inflated between 36 and 50 psi as it instructs. But.. at any rate.. i have new tires ordered and they will be here next week.

Built solid, feels tough, watch out for human error during assembly!
I can't really write anything more than has already been written about this nifty bit of gadgetry. It definitely feels like something that should last quite a long while, and isn't going to blow sideways in a stiff breeze. That said, you need to remember that these things are made by people, by hand, for the most part. Mistakes will happen during the push to churn out finished pieces as fast as possible, and one of the easiest places for mistakes to show up is when the rim liner is put on. The faster you go, the more likely you'll introduce a twist in it before the tread and tube are shoved on. That twist can leave one or more spoke ends exposed, and that's how you get a flat without ever rolling an inch! If you get one of these, do yourself a favor while the tires are completely flat: take off the stem cap and pull the tire aside (see attached photo). The protective strip inside should be flat all the way around, covering the spoke anchors on the inside of the rim. If you see a twist like mine, it's easy to fix, just pull the tire and tube off (again, really easy when the tube is completely flat), correct the twist, then put it all back together and air up with some renewed confidence. Other than that minor assembly flaw, everything else was pretty simple to figure out. 1. Unfold sides 2. Remove wheels from inside the enclosure 3. Find rear crossbar on left upper rear, take out bolt, nut and lock pin from the free end, swing it up into place on the opposite side, insert bolt and tighten nut with included simple wrench, slide on lock pin. 4. Find tow bar underneath, remove lock pin from its hinge, swing the bar out to deployed position, re-insert lock pin 5. Check tires (as previously described) and inflate to 50-60psi before inserting the splines into the sockets near the bottom-middle-rear of the trailer. There is a spring-loaded latch mechanism on that axle bar underneath that locks in and releases the wheel splines. 6. Reflectors go in the little holes marked with a black dot in the fabric, each side front and rear. White for front, red at the back. 7. Flag just slides into a long pocket sewn into the top left corner of the rear end cover 8. The "hitch" bolts up to your bike's rear axle on the left side, and you're done!

I really wanted a trailer and I'm so happy I chose this one!
I chose this trailer after a lot of research and I'm very happy with it. Of utmost importance to me was safety, big wheels, price, folding and quality. I was also considering child bike trailers but it is actually to transport my 29 lb. French Bulldog, Korben. I've ridden 15 miles with it and it works perfectly, though so far Korben would rather run along side than inside (he thinks he's a big dog:). I strongly recommend to introduce the trailer to your dog slowly and gradually, maybe after letting the trailer air out for a couple of days as everyone here has noted, and invest on a good, strong tether. There is a metal D-rind attachment inside, on the bottom left side towards the front for the trailer, but I only use it to clip loose items. For the dog I use a good quality harness and tether clipped to the top rear bar of the trailer frame and cinched short enough that the dog can not lunge forward and hit his face on the rear bike wheel when the flaps are open. He really, really prefers to ride with the front flap open and if I close it he can easily tear the mesh. The front and rear flaps mesh is delicate but the side windows mesh is thick. The only other negative for me is that there is only a mesh flap on the back of the trailer and no clear plastic flap like on the front and top, but having the roof flaps makes up for it, in my opinion. And man does Korben look adorable sticking his head out the roof! There is still plenty of room inside for my backpack, a couple of grocery bags, extra leash, extra water bottle, lock cables, bike tools and pump attached to inside of frame. So far this trailer is a lot more fun for me than for my dog, but if I keep taking him to the dog beach in it he just may grow to love it too:)
