I am not a usual gshock user, but decided to pull the trigger after seeing all the mods this watch could get. It is amazing since its durable as hell, smaller than most gshocks and very nice looking.My dog chewed the hell out of it, and it barely caused several scratches. It would've killed my more expensive watches.I've had it for over a year and the battery is still strong! it has a tiny light that is useful if youre camping.

I like the size of this watch. It is a little smaller than some of the other G-Shocks, but I have a smaller wrist and the size is perfect for me. It looks great, but is still my “work watch”. I’ve already banged it up a few times working around the house, but seemed to have minimal scratches.

First off, the utility of this watch is as good as you could ask for. Just about any watch complication you could want, it offers. Day of the week, day of the month, year, daylight savings on/off option, stopwatch, timer, multiple alarms, 31 world time zone function. All while being easily accessible and simple to use and incredibly accurate time wise with down to the second setting.This G-Shock is comfortable, lightweight, and should accommodate the majority of wrist sizes with the tons sizing options on the band. Don’t let the 45mm case diameter be a deal breaker. This watch feels and looks much smaller on the wrist, especially with the less than 12mm of thickness. This is a rare time G-Shock could’ve increased the case size for the better.The GA2100 has a borderline endless supply of customization options from 3rd parties. New dial colors, Lume inserts, entirely new cases/bands featuring countless colors, silicone, and even metal bracelet options to dress this design up a bit. You could spend another $100 and easily have multiple combinations to style this watch.The durability should be a given considering it’s a G-Shock but I have zero concern that this won’t keep ticking for years on end even while enduring some significant use and wear and tear from everyday life.With all that said, it’s great but not perfect. Most of my dislikes and cons are because of legibility. I understand this a a blackout model but this colorway can be very difficult to read at times. The mineral glass is horribly reflective in natural and artificial light alike. The lume is only applied to the hands, not the indices, and although bright when initially charged the lume is pretty underwhelming and dulls quickly. The installed light basically only illuminates the digital subdial so if you choose not to display the time there it’s not ideal when checking the hour and minute hands in low light environments.A couple of other minor complaints: initial setup is a bit annoying. I received the JDM version. So the included paperwork was in Japanese. Only a quick search online was needed to find the necessary button combos for the functions. Once I saw it done a time or two it was surprisingly intuitive, and easy to remember. The buttons themselves can be a little challenging to press for people with larger fingers/hands but it’s barely worth mentioning.All in all, this watch is still worth the $100 price tag. I wouldn’t pay more personally. It does everything you could ask in a durable, attractive, no nonsense way. If you have to have this specific colorway, it may be worth while to make a few mods for better legibility if it is going to be your daily wearer. But at it’s core this watch is a workhorse that most will likely be happy with.

I love the Casio GA 2100 series but this "black on black" color scheme does not work if you actually want to know the time. The light is also useless. (Why they didn't go with a backlit LED is beyond me.)I sent it back and went for the original "white hands and hour markers" color scheme.

I needed a non metallic watch that was tough and wouldn’t cause any static as I was working with explosives that are very sensitive to any type of static charge. This watch was perfect for the job and fit the bill exactly. Very pleased with it and its features. I would absolutely recommend it without hesitation.

デザインがめっちゃカッコイイ！けど、オールブラックなので見慣れるまでは、針の時間が読み取りづらい😅(老眼で遠近両用ハードコンタクトレンズ使用中のためかも。)それでもやっぱりカッコイイ👍🏻✨文字盤用LEDライトは、真っ暗闇ではちょっとしたライトとしても利用できるほど明るいので、夜のキャンプで、テント内での捜し物のとき等に使っています。
