I've used earring trees, necklace trees, ring dishes, etc., and always manage to have a disorganized mess in very little time at all. After a particularly frustrating day of looking for the mate to an earring I wanted to wear, I decided there had to be a better solution. I bought this based on the reviews, and am very happy I did. The box is well made and sits perfectly on the dresser in my closet. Now, if you have a lot of big and/or chunky items, as I read in other reviews, this box won't be the answer for most of those items, I don't think. But for 90% of my stuff, it's a perfect fit. No more wearing the same earrings every day because I don't have time to find what I really wanted to wear!

I really needed something like this to organize the huge mess of costume jewelry I own. I especially wanted a jewelry box where I could see what I had inside without having to open it and go through everything. I need to purchase more of these. This is perfect! I also love how you can customize the size of each compartment by pulling out one of the tabs, if you need bigger spaces. Which is what I did in mine. I love all kinds of jewelry, and I have different tastes. So a box for each kind of style of jewelry I own is perfect for me. Being organized is a huge stress reliever for me. lol Especially when you have a problem collecting things.

I ordered 2 of these similar jewelry display cases. This item arrived damaged with the ribbon holding the lid affixed to the base broken and also with a strong odor that made me very ill. The seller was very responsive and did promptly refund the money for this item, but asked me to be willing to give a few weeks to see if the one that was not broken on arrival might off gas to the point I could tolerate it. The seller suggested I place it out in the sun (which is the best way to off gas products safely and efficiently) and then if it would not work to let them know and they would handle. I thought that it was a fluke that the ribbon detached but now feel that this item is simply not strong enough to begin with since the second one I ordered ended up exactly the same with the ribbon broken off and it happened within 20 minutes of us placing the item outside on a calm sunny day to try to let it off-gas. We looked out about 20 minutes later and saw that the ribbon was broken off that one as well. I cannot recommend these products.

I needed a way to organize my jewelry so I could see what I had, it would stay untangled and it wouldn't take up much storage space. This does all that. It's glass on the top and was packaged with a small wooden sheet over the glass so it wouldn't get broken in shipping. It's padded all the way around which is great for stacking them. It has dividers that can be removed to make larger spots which I did on one. I ordered three and they work great. My only recommendation is that it would be better if the dividers came all the way up to the glass so there would be no way the jewelry could slide into another slot. I handle them carefully so that doesn't happen but it could. It would have gotten 5 stars if the dividers came all the way up. Otherwise much superior to other cases.

I got 2 of these to organize my crystals and stones. I am very impressed with these cases! They are beautiful! Completely covered in the velvet material, even on the bottom, and on the dividers. The dividers are movable so you can take some out if you want a couple bigger sections. The glass lid is very nice. It arrived with no cracks, no scratches in the velvet. They were very well packaged to prevent damage in shipping. There is a ribbon that holds the lid open, which is a nice touch. Its a nice light grayish color which is a good background color for whatever you're storing in it. They are just beautiful. They are very good quality if you're wanting to display jewelry or something that you're selling. If you're going to be carrying them around to places, I would suggest keeping the box it comes in to protect the glass and the velvet. It comes in a fitted box, that is then inside another mailing box. I would suggest keeping the fitted box for any kind of travelling. I highly recommend them.

It has one area that isn't glued quite correctly ( slight nitch ) but barely noticeable and even though the hinges seem secure in front and back the NOT MADE OF GLASS--repeat, NOT MADE OF GLASS-- lid has a slight opening at one end when the top lid is lifted all the way up. Neither of these two defects affects any usage. So, for the price, I am okay with it. All the sections relocate as described and the material is soft and pretty. This organizer appears to me to be identical to the one I purchased recently by another brand yet more expensive unit. It's back hinge was not secured and I had to luckily find the two screws to screw them in with my own screwdriver.If I had to order another one of these I would. It is practical and a decent value. Would I gift this to my perfectionist mother? No.

The soft lining is nice for jewelry, the see-through lid makes it very handy, and pretty to boot. I had a hard time making a decision on what to buy, but decided on this one and very glad I did ... couldn't be happier. It's a nice size too.

I live in a small space, so organization is critical. I have acquired quite a bit of jewelry over the years, and having an effective way to store it while seeing what I have available to wear without damaging it is important to me. I saw a photo of this case and decided to give it a shot because the flat size allows me to put it away in a drawer which I find great. I put my wild, large earrings in semi sheer bags and place them in the individual compartments. The clear glass lid allows me to see everything inside which I love. The lid is real glads so I would not travel with this, but absolutely perfect for at home! Love it!
