If You Were a Homonym or a Homophone (Word Fun)

We ordered these cute books in the early elementary years to introduce the kids to the parts of speech and so on. The pages are full color and the artwork is awesome. The writing style is great for young kids. There is not much on each page so you can read through it in one sitting easily. My kids really grasped each concept with these books. They have been a great investment. Now, even in the older grades, it is great to pull one of these out as we continue to learn and review in Language Arts. These are well worth the money to have as an addition in your home library. You will use them again and again.

OK - unless you already know that toast can be bread or that toast can be celebratory action... then you are not going to understand the book. The words are just written in sentances with an image, but the two different meanings are NOT defined.

Pictures and words are pretty and well-thought of.

Our kiddo at 5 almost 6 ( wait, I mean, just 6.... ) is eating this up.

Such a fun story! This was a great was a great way to teach homophones and homonyms to second graders.

It is a nice picture book. However, thr book arrived damaged. They had folded the book to fit in the mailing envelope instead of using a larger mailing envelope. So, the book is bent in half.
