Happy Endings: A Story about Suffixes

I bought this book to help teach suffixes but it is a VERY strange and poorly written book. I do not recommend.

My class had a wonderful time reading this book! They often ask me to read it again!

My daughter is a fan of all of the books by this author. She currently loves to read "Silent letters loud and clear,"we read it every night before bed. She hasn't taken to this book as much as SLLC, but I like that it introduces the idea of suffixes.It's a much more interesting way to learn about them than having a teacher lecture her on the subject.

Because we have to teach to the State's Common Cores and this book is a clever supplement to the prefix Core, it should be a nice addition to any teachers' instructionl arsenal.

This book is a great way to get students interested in learning about suffixes.

Really cut way to "highlight" suffixes to your students. I have many students in my BSI classes that are chopping the endings off. I'm hoping that by reading this books and also having them highlight suffixes that I can break this bad habit.
