6'6' MH rod. Not as stiff as my Ardito travel rod, but at less than half the price, it is solid. Enough backbone to catch bigger fish. Very similar feel to my TFO rods, so it's a good value.UPDATE10/20/23- One of the sections broke, I see that there is a 1 year warranty on the rods, we'll see how this goes. Will leave the 5 stars for now, as I really like this rod.UPDATE 10/28/23- Goture honored the warranty, New replacement rod arrived today. Buy with confidence.

The media could not be loaded. I really wrestle with price vs quality in searching for a travel rod. My family and I and moving to Costa Rica this year and having the right gear was super important to me. I decided on the Goture 10’ Absolute steal. Came brand new just as advertised. Tested it out that night and the next morning lol. I was initially leary of the weight because fully assembled it seemed pretty light for what I planned to land with it. It really does have an above average backbone. I plan on purchasing a 15’ rod as well. Great Quality materials. The inside of the cap is padded as well for protecting your rod tips. Check out Florida Fishing Collective online. Starting this summer I plan on putting the rods to the test every day in CR. Super excited about the 15’ travel Surf Rod. I’m planning on purchasing that in the next few weeks so I’ll let you know how that goes once I receive it. Tight Lines.

After opening the box, the first word that came to my mind was "Wow!". Then I started to unwrap this awesome looking rod. I know it's 8pm but I had thoughts of going fishing.😎After a bad experience with my previous order, rod tip shaft was broken. Evidently, during the packaging process. So I decided to shop a little more and I came across this GOTURE. The reviews were outstanding and this rod actually cost less than my previous purchase, which I returned. I must say, I couldn't be happier with my decision to change routes.I mean, check out the presentation, and the handy travel tube with the strap is a winner in itself. Can't wait to give this baby a go. Kudos To GOTURE for making such a beautiful, affordable travel rod.

LOVED this fishing rod (at least for the first 10 month), so much I bought it twice! But after the same issue happened on both rods, I had to tell my story.Both rod's eye's break at the 8 month mark. The top two connection, break where they connect to each other at the 10-12 month mark. With the first rod, I just assummed it was being used too much and never requested a refund.When the second rod had the identical issues, I felt I had to tell my story.Maybe bad luck or bad engineering?As stated above, LOVED them for the first 10 months, but be careful if you think these will last. These are a one year purchase.

Update. I contacted the seller and let them know what happend and they offered to send a free replacement so i will wait to receive the rod and retest it and update the review after Got these poles for a easy travel fishing rod and from the description and reviews thought yea should be a good pole right WRONG first use caught a small 7 inch sheep's head pole snaped right in the middle so okay Kool took the broken piece stuck it back in and could still fish then boom caught a decent sized fish (can't tell you want it was because of the rest of the story) then boom snaps into another 3 pieces yay so had to go and find a replacement pole for the rest of the trip useless and a waste of money

The media could not be loaded. I'm extremely satisfied with the quality and performance of this fishing rod since I'm not a professional angler for me is what i need. After using my first 8-foot Medium Heavy (MH) rod, I was so impressed that I ordered another identical one, plus a 7-foot (M) and my last one 8- foot (L).The build quality, sensitivity, and balance are outstanding.I gave one of the rods to a local guy from the beach since he can't afford one.He later sent me a video fighting a pretty big stingray and said the rod handled the fight really well.Definitely a great value and highly recommended for any none professional angler!I uploaded pictures of the four rods I’ve got. Like I said, I gave one to the local guy.

I was pleasantly surprised with this rod. It was purchased as a travel rod for an upcoming trip to Alaska and salmon fishing on the Kenai.When loaded with 15lb braid it would cast a 0.5 oz lure the veritable 'country mile. Very lightweight with a superb whip which meant that spinners, spoons, cast masters and rooster tails were easily sent out a good distance. I am sure that this will do very well with 4 -6lb Coho and even a 10lb+ King salmon.The long base allows for a 2-handed cast and easy retrieval,

I bought this rod and a Pflueger President reel thinking I was getting a reasonably priced portable outfit to take with me as I traveled. The reel was great. I like the rod’s size and action, that it broke down into four pieces and had a sturdy travel case. I used the outfit for some inshore fishing in Florida in February 2020. All went well until the rod broke after about two hours of usage. It was one of the middle pieces that snapped while casting. I am a very experienced angler and realize that a $48 fishing rod is not going to be the best, but I expected more. I did not focus on return options until after my return window closed on 3/21/20. Eyes open when buying lower priced rods. All that being said, I reached out to Goture and they immediately responded offering a free replacement rod at no cost. They attributed the breakage to an anomaly with my specific rod and that they thought it would not occur again. Based upon the large number of positive reviews on the rod, I’m hoping and expecting that to be the case. I’m giving them another shot and am hopeful that they redeem themselves. I will report back if I am disappointed. UPDATE as of 4/28/20 - new rod received and functioning as expected.
