Resistor Land - 1450pcs 1/4W 145 Value Resistor Assortment Kit for Prototyping

The resistors are exactly as shown and are of good quality. They all came neatly packed and none of them have bent leads. The leads are thin, but fairly stiff, so they work well for breadboards. You get a ton of resistors for your money, with 1% precision thrown in as an added bonus.As noted by someone else, these are 1% resistors, so the color bands are slightly different from the 5% resistors that most hobbyists are used to, but really it isn't hard to figure out. They have an extra band because they need another decimal place of precision, so, for example, a 1k-Ohm resistor would be Brown-Black-Black-Brown instead of Brown-Black-Red for a 5% resistor. Even if you can't read resistors, the values are printed on the paper strips that hold the leads of the resistors, so no worries there, either.

Color codes are a bit different than I am used to, but eventually worked things out. Nice assortment for the money.

I am not an electronics guy so having a set like this labelled well is very nice for me. Like many things having a set saves much time when something comes up and you need a different size or spec unit. The trip to the store to get it pays for just buying the set to start with.

This kit arrived on time and just as pictured. Resistors are very high quality , clearly labeled and none of the leads are bent.I own this kit and the Joe knows electronics kit , I prefer this kit because its much cheaper , has more values and more pieces in the kit.

Good value for the money. A random check with my ohmmeter shows that the resistance values are right on. The leads are a little on the flimsy side - I'm used to much stiffer leads, but not a serious issue.

Measured well within 1% tolerance, very good!
