They do the job of covering a book. But in time they start to slide around. I think I would rather go with the paper covers. They cover the book and protect it. But it's just too slippery.

I always take the covers off my hardcover books as I read them but was looking for a way to protect the cover underneath from damage/wear. These are perfect. They fit well on the book and do not slide around or come off.
