I am very happy with this cable. It seems well-made, and does exactly what it says it does: it is suitable for both data transfer and charging. I also like the length, which gives a little more flexibility when charging it on the night stand.I purchased a different cable from a different seller some time ago, and it was not as advertised -- that one was cheaply made, didn't handle data (though it said it did), and broke within two months of gentle use. The cable I'm reviewing now is much higher quality, and I believe it will last.There are a lot of USB cables out there of middling quality, so I am delighted to find one like this. Thanks to the seller for shipping a good product!

This cable, while fine for the time it lasts, does seem to break somewhere over time. I couldn't figure out where, I just knew that over time it started acting up every so often, then stopped making a connection all together. For me, it lasted about a year or so before I had to get another cable (and I chose a different cable). Not much to same about though really as it's a basic cable that can be used for a variety of devices. Just... it seems to wear out. Unless i just got unlucky.

These work great if you are not an eight year boy who doesn't remember how to correctly unplug his phone. They don't stand up to much jostling. My son destroyed three within a month. Are there studier cables out there? I am not sure however if you plug and unplug your phone the way you should...these should work just fine.

I purchased the cable and instantly liked it out of the packaging!! Its perfect for my phone EVO 4G LTE. No problems with the cable at all. Took awhile to get to me but the customer service was very responsive and helped out a lot to get it to me!

At first I was concerned because the picture did not show the other side of the small connector so I took a leap that it had the two prongs I needed to fit my phone (HTC EVO 3D). This fit the bill and then some as the cord has a heavier duty connection between the wire and the USB and Micro connection. The original cord received with the phone is easily pulled apart and the reason I had to get a new cord.

Just like most of the other people who wrote a review on this cable, I'm very satisfied with it. Charges the phone and transmits data with no problem. Only (minor) complaint is that the connection between the cable and the phone isn't quite as tight as the original cable, not an issue if you use a litte care. Wish I had this cable all along since it's 6 feet long and that's pretty handy. Just ordered a second one, why not, it's so cheap!

Just got it today. Was excited....until I tried to use it. Didn't work at all. So unplugged it from charger.....just to make sure. Plugged it back in, went into charger easy like the 1st time....still DID not work. So unplugged it like before and the silver outer part was still in the charger. Never had one break like that or come apart like that. Always had a lot of luck ordering these, different lengths on Amazon, no problems til now. Very upset because I really need it badly. Thank goodness I still have a very short usb charger cord. Now need to recorder a new 6ft one. This one I received today was/is garbage!!!!! Very unhappy!!! :(

The length of this cord is fantastic! However, it broke after a few months of use. That's okay because it was extremely cheap. For the price, this is an excellent product!
