AT-38OD Windshield Washer Fluid Heater

Q: How long does take to heat windshield from ice and cold car set out for 5 days at airport roughly? at -20?

Hi, I had ice on my windshield the other day and 4 sprays and it was clear (temp outside was probably in the teens). You have to wait approximately 20 secs. Between sprays. I've been very happy with the washer heater.

Q: Its stated in the product description that its "made in America" but the package has Japanese writing all over it.?!

What is important is the quality of the components. The one I returned did not have any foreign writings on it... Finally I decided to build one myself (that works perfectly), but the Honeywell thermostat alone cost me 60$. It is hard to believe you can get something to work at -35 Celsius with cheap components. If it's assembled in US from cheap imported components you are not any better off.

Q: How much time to install? Need figure so can get labor estimate from Lexus service department.

No more than 30-45mins to install. Very simple, hardest was figuring where to install and connect the ground. Be sure to use anti rust paint on the holes u drill to mount.
