Farad FA-ALU-491 Aero Aluminium Silver Roof Bar Set (Closed Roof Rails)

I bought these roof bars for my XC90. They came very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Instructions are quite vague but putting them together is very straightforward. They are very strong and easy to fit on the car. If I were to criticise them at all it would be 1, that the rubber strips that fit into the channels on the top and bottom of the aluminium extrusions are quite time-consuming and fiddly to install, as they need to be pushed into the slots bit by bit so expect sore thumbs after finishing that job (it was only 4 degrees when I did it so may be a lot easier on a wam day), and 2. the fixings are exposed Torx security bolts and so may be liable to theft if left on the car, especially as tools to undo them are quite easily available these days. I only use them on the odd occasion I need to carry a roof box and plan to get some plastic plugs to cover the bolts so they are not so obvious. Overall I would recommend buying these bars.
