These cherry blossom buttons look and feel awesome with the matcha shell--great response, very little wobble, and the install was easy with the help of YouTube videos and included tools. My only complaint: the "R" button is missing. Triple checked the packaging and my desk area.I still like them and I don't want to send them back, but I am a little disappointed. I looked (not very hard) for a way to contact the seller but decided a three-star review would sum up my feelings for now. I hope to update to a five star review with pictures of the finished product if they ever send me the "R" button.UPDATE: they sent me a new button! Looks great. See last pictures.

Great product, they feel great and just like you would expect. The install isnt terrible but if you have anxiety about ruining your control you may not want to do this, you have to take it completely apart.*TIPS* have a pair of 90 degree tweezers or small pliers. When you have to disconnect the connection from the board and actual button controls there is a VERY small black ribbon connection and can easily bend/damage if you have bigger fingers ( even if you have some hands it will be tough ). Also THE ZL can be a bit of a pain, the pin isnt really easy to grab ( you have to slide a pin out to get ZL and ZR off ) you must have the front ones off in order to access the pin. I'd suggest having a small 90 degree awl or poker for that and it will make your life so much easier. ZR was much easier. Other than that they are very easy to install and love them. I did damage the black ribbon connection and still works to throw out there but be careful get 90 degree pliers.

(I got the pink buttons.)Very cute, the texture is soft but not like silicone. It becomes easy to ignore the feeling after a bit of playing. If you install correctly, the buttons function perfectly and zero issues. I was a little annoyed though to see inside the pro controller that you CAN replace the tiny buttons (plus, minus, screenshot and home) and I wish I could find a set that also replaced those little buttons.I kept the default pro controller shell for the main body, and the material is just slightly transparent. So depending on the color of buttons you get, you can see the mold of the D pad inside the controller. It's not a huge issue and would be instantly remedied by using a main shell that isn't transparent, or using a skin on that part.Overall, it's great! I do suggest being VERY careful removing the first two screws on the paddles, those strip easily but the rest of the screws were easy. I LOVE that this kit came with extra screws!

So, first of all, I purchased these baby blue button replacements to customise my pro controller to match my Animal Crossing: New Horizons switch. It took me about 2 hours to do both the plates and button customisation. However, I am not an electronics expert and I had to watch the tutorial video a bunch of times lol. If you’re at all tech savvy it won’t take you as long. I love the way that the controller turned out but there are a couple important things to note.It is really nice of them to send a set of screwdrivers with a purchase but the orange screwdrivers were stripping themselves trying to take out the initial screws at the bottom of the handles. I ended up using my own. I tried to reuse as many of the original screws as possible, but they send you plenty of extras just in case you strip or lose a couple. I highly recommend having a pair of tweezers if you want to replace the buttons, as the ZL and ZR buttons are attached with a little metal bar that’s difficult to reach with just fingers. The tweezers made it a snap, though.PLEASE do not unplug any ribbon cables the way that the tutorial video instructs. I knew that if I unplugged those suckers I wouldn’t be able to get them back in properly. You have to do a little more careful holding and maneuvering since the front circuit board will still be attached to the back part of the controller as you unscrew things. But, trust me, if you are not used to doing stuff like this it’s probably a bad idea. Unplug them at your own discretion.The pieces are (spray?)painted they aren’t coloured plastic, and they have a soft matte texture. I didn’t have any trouble replacing the screws into the new casing, and for me everything fit perfectly. It might be worth having a craft knife or sandpaper on standby just in case some plastic doesn’t fit right. I didn’t have any problems though.A couple things about these replacement buttons:- This kit doesn’t come with the 4 tiny centre buttons, just ABXY and L, R, ZL, and ZR.- The ZL and ZR buttons are not even close to as clicky as the OEM buttons.- The d-pad is a little smaller and therefore wiggly in the casing, there are other reviews that explain the issue a lot better. I HAVE been playing Tetris 99 with it, and it occasionally registers the wrong button press. This is probably the main game where this would be a big problem. Other than that, I’m sure it’s fine with the majority of other games.- Other reviews mention problems with buttons sticking, I’ve been using the controller for a couple weeks and I haven’t had a problem like that yet.I did try to include a colour comparison in the photos, hopefully if you are looking to do a similar customisation for the ACNH switch they are helpful. The baby blue of the buttons is very similar to the baby blue of the right joy-con of the console.I would probably recommend the plate and handle replacement as an easier/better customisation than the button customisation due to some of the button differences. I figured that since I was doing the plates I might as well do it all at once. Check out my plates and handles review for more info on those specific pieces.Happy Switching! :]

I'm gonna start this off by saying if you are planning on buying a Dbrand skin to put on your controller, install that first. The sides of some of my buttons turned yellow when the hairdryer was near and it wouldn't come off even after rubbing it with alcohol. Besides that I like the color and the feeling of these buttons. I prefer the D-pad that comes with this kit because it's soft, even if it does move around a little. Installing the triggers was a bit dicey but I managed it with some difficulty using regular tweezers. I would get electronic tweezers before doing this again. If you are extra careful you can take the controller apart without removing any cables and get this done. Seriously, the only part that gave me real trouble was putting the screws back into place when I finished with the front.

Great look/quality. Easy install. Completely changed my controller!I also got the Faceplate & Joysticks! Totally NEW looking controller and fixed my joystick drift.

Good quality buttons that come in a lot of colours. A good price point for someone just getting into Switch customization.
