I’m a home hospice nurse (during Covid!) and this gives an extra peace of mind to both myself and my clients and families I visit. We disinfect our vitals equipment at the end of each visit, but I feel like it helps too, just using a barrier for added protection. You have to have a barrier underneath the arm too, so the cuff doesn’t touch the blankets/torso etc, but I found that cheap waterproof bulk dental bibs worked well for that.
