Wilks-USA High Power Surface Cleaner Attachment with Detergent Tank

For the price I would say it is good value.It works like a mini hovercraft floating on the water flow retained by the brush skirt.Does a reasonable job of cleaning without leaving stripes and is faster by far than using an ordinary fan nozzle.The reason for only 4 stars is the adjustment for the built in cleaning fluid tank which would be better off not being used.The flow adjuster seems to not work well and also in my case impossible to turn off so any unused fluid just leaks away after it is turned off leaving a nasty puddle behind it.I think it just works by vacuum cutting off the air flow into the tank. It didn't.Not realy required when the machine itself has a built in fluid feed as most do.Nice economical cleaner weĺl made and seems strong enough but maybe over ambitious with that tank built in.

But this product for decking cleaning. First 30mins it was great then the underside brass nut unscrewed due to the rotation direction of the jets and jammed the rotating head solid. After retightening as best I could not( not so easy due to access and angle ) the rotating heads were looser on the centre shaft and would stop rotating continually. The only remedy is to stop and press the trigger on the gun a few times to help the initial higher pressure kick start the rotor. Not something I wanted when I purchased but it’s been used and is somewhat usable just a pain.

Load of pants, cheap landfill rubbish.Stupid me for thinking it would work 🤦‍♂️

As with all Wilks products it was easy to attach and fill with fluid, but be qiuck! It leaks like a sieve and the cleaning fluid disappeared rapidly, 5 ltrs gone in a flash! Weather it was the fluids effectiveness or the patio cleaning tool? The patio didn't look that much better!

Bought this along with the Wilks TXi750, it lasted about 5 minutes, called up Union Mart who replaced the unit within days at no cost, this one lasted about 10 minutes, again called up Union Mart and they replaced the unit within days at no cost, this one lasted about 10 minutes ad gave up the ghost.I am pretty mechanical minded so I stripped down the rotating nozzle crown where the nozzle arms are joined to the head of the unit, there are two nylon washers which are split by design, when these two nylon washer splits align with the nozzle arms rotating all pressure is lost to the nozzles and the high pressure water comes through the split nylon washers leaving a cleaning streak on whatever you are cleaning. All in all a bad design, it would be a great paving, decking cleaner if they could get the nylon washer design flaws sorted!

Works as described and delivered very quickly in decent packaging, but this device is not going to blast off grime and weeds from surfaces such as block paving with the same efficiency as the fancy £500+ rotary head units that you see the pro washer guys use.What it is good for however, is for light cleaning and applying soap/chemicals evenly to surfaces. For instance if you regularly wash your deck/drive and don't want to blast out the grout or do an uneven clean like you might with a lance, this could be a good accessory for your washer.I haven't tried it for algae/green mould treatment yet but I would imagine that this would be a good way to distribute the chemical in a controlled way on surfaces that may be a bit loose, providing it doesn't hurt the components.

Works as expected

Delivered quickly in decent packaging. It’s not as robust as the professional units but they can be 10 to 15 times more expensive and if you clean your drive just once or twice a year it’s an excellent accessory at a very reasonable price.The 17'' diameter makes for quick coverage of large areas, it's easy to manoeuvre and the bristle design allows for dirt to exit out the side without being sprayed everywhere although it would be nice if you were able to purchase a set of wheels to support the washer to make the cleaning process a little more comfortable.
