CargoCosmetics - Essential High Shine Lip Gloss, Vienna

FINALLY found a replacement for the Clinique Long Wear gloss that they discontinued. (I must have tried 20 other glosses-my makeup drawer is a graveyard of gloss fails.) Love this one and the Vienna is such a pretty pink color! The photo might make you think it's too bright but it isn't. Some may complain that it is a 'sticky' gloss, but I think it's the perfect consistency-it stays on well and doesn't get on your teeth. Gloss NEEDS to be a bit sticky or it slides right off! I bought multiples to stash in all the usual 'I need gloss-stat!' spots. Give it a go!

The color is just gorgeous!!! It’s like no other color I’ve seen before. Adds a sheer, subtle medium pink pop of color to bare lips or over a light shade of lipstick. I carry one in my purse and one stays in my at home make up bag. I bought a few to give as extra gifts and they love it too. The color looks just like the photos based on skin tone!

Absolutely adorable on. Not much tint. But vet very glossy and iridescent in a cute way. Cotton candy vibes. Goes on THICK. If you are the kind of person who doesn't like the feeling of sticky lip gloss, run away. Comes in a nice box. The bottle (tube?) is minimalist, generic. The base is plastic, the top is thin metal. Even though the shade in the bottle goes not in any way turn your lips that color, it's still just as vibrant in the bottle as it is in the photos. Tasted like grapefruit pith. I did not like the taste at ALL. It goes away.All in all, I do not feel this product is worth more than $8. If you're looking for premium lip gloss, MAC blows this out of the water at every turn. This is definitely superior to Wet and Wild though.

First know that this isn't a bad gloss but I took off a couple stars mainly because I was disappointed in the pigment. I guess the way it's worded about being an intense color- and even how it looks in the picture - I assumed it was going to be more pigmented than it is. There's hardly much noticeable color to it- it's translucent with a hint of pink. I was hoping to replace a lipgloss that I had (a different brand) that was discontinued and had a dramatically noticeable pink color. Part of it maybe is my fault for assuming, I guess? I'll still use it though as it is a likeable lipgloss other than my expectations about the color

very sticky, totally different than as pictured and described, cheap quality, would never buy from them again.
