worth it !
great deal ! after years of service i began to have flooding issues.. gas tank drain into cylinder. the critical'O" ring required to fix issue, did not come with a rebuild kit.. this deal solved it all !! yardman back up and running again. interesting to note, there's more that comes that's NOT pictured !! such as new bowl gasket AND surprise surprise, the critical O ring.. now i have 2 working carbs ! :)

Why bother rebuilding?
Exact replacement for the original on my 17.5 hp Briggs. No modifications needed. Comes with new spark plug, fuel filter, sur off valve, hose, clamps and miscellaneous spares. Started right up and only needed minor adjustments to the mixture screw. Easier and faster than rebuilding the original.

Carb kit
Why try and repair? My 2001 Craftsman 18 HP B&S powered lawn tractor was having a carb float problem. The fuel would pour through the carb. Added a petcock, the fuel still would pour into the carb and the engine stalling the engine. I installed this new carb kit. It fit perfectly. Easy to install. Air filter also. Started right up, runs like it is 2001 again.

Gas in the carburetor but engine will not start except with starter fluid.
Waited all day for Amazon for this carburetor for it not to work. Got installed, and first thing it wasn’t enough gas line, since it arrived so late I had to wait the next day to buy a foot more of gas line. Got the gas line connected and put gas in the tank and went to start it and nothing. The engine would not start. I figured it needed a boost to catch so I used some starter fluid and the engine fired right up but quickly died. I tried it several times with no luck. Tried it again today but this time I swapped the fuel filter with the see through type to make sure gas was flowing and it was. I even took the solenoid off and gas came out, so it was gas in the carburetor but the engine would not fire off except with starter fluid. I’m taking it off tomorrow and returning it.

I still can't believe the price of this brand new carburetor that comes with everything you need in one box. I will be getting all of my parts from here if I can. It was so nice and shiny it makes the engine look old. One of the best deals that have come across in a very long time.

Excellent purchase!
I was given a rider lawnmower that hadn’t been used in 3 years. They said that they just had it serviced but to medical issues, they hired out mowing services and this mower sat in the garage. They never drained the gas and it would turn over but not start. I bought this kit and replaced the old carburetor, fuel filter, air filter, and added the fuel shut off valve and it fired right up! Been mowing with it for a couple of weeks with no issues! Great price and easy to replace! Save the money (was quoted $300 to service) and did it myself for $27, an hour, and a couple of beers 😂
