They are great, after 3 days there was no mouldy smell in my wardrobe, for me they worked. No more mouldy smelly clothes :)

can these be used in closets that no air gets in, and is always closed?

I have not put them in my closets - but they do and excellent job in absorbing moisture - I have them down in my basement - I would think if you allow some room and it is not touching the clothes I would imagine it would work

Is this product cruelty free?

I've gotten better products from Amazon, these appear to get slimmey on the outside
