This whistle is perfect for loud pools
This whistle is perfect for loud pools. It cuts through noise and gets attention. It has a very sharp sound, although you have to give it a good amount of air to get a full sound. If you blow too lightly it makes a whispy sound. I would definitely recommend it!

Easy to hold on two. Part of my emergency equipment in case of hurricane.

Just OK for big lungs, not great for smaller ones
It works well for someone like me that can pump some serious air through it, then it is loud. Sound doesn't seem to carry all that far though. But for my smaller 16 yr old lifeguard daughter, it didn't work so well. This was another in a long line of disappointments that we got for her to be heard at work when required. Better than most, but not good enough. We did finally find a great whistle that worked even with her tiny whistle blowing lungs. Good and loud
Good and loud, I like it. Need to keep girls under control on my lakefront in summer. Very happy so far.
